Hotel Moresco

Clean and modern hotel in a great location with gorgeous views - close to a lovely beach and to local restaurants. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Hotel has own beds on the beach but you have to pay €30 per day and the hotel pool is for show, you can’t get in it. Would be great if the rooms had a kettle/tea and coffee facilities and an iron.

A boutique hotel located just above one of the prettiest little beaches in Sardinia, Rena Bianca. We stayed one night in a beach view, deluxe room in mid September while the weather and water were still warm enough to swim. The price was very reasonable -around 300€ and included breakfast. We were in room 109 overlooking the beach. The bed and pillows were very firm and their were usb power ports on either side of the bed along with small tables which I always appreciate. Furnishings were simple with white tile floors and white interior throughout. The room wasn't overly big but didn't feel cramped. The small bathroom with single sin k still had room for a great rain shower. We also had a large balcony with white wicker table and chairs so could sit outside during a couple of brief rain showers. The main allure here is the beach-just a 2-minute walk down. The hotel also has a large number of beach chairs (many under shady trees) dedicated to guests which is great because I’m certain this beautiful beach gets packed in high season. No pool at this hotel though, just a reflecting pool to add ambiance to the restaurant and bar. Try to sit out there for breakfast. Note: they have 24 parking spaces but they MUST be reserved in advance (did not see this on their website anywhere-20€/day) or else you have to try for paid street parking (enforced 9-midnight) at 1€/hr-we got lucky on street. A great stay and wonderful beach.

The location of this hotel is perfect, very close to Beach Bianca, very beautiful. This hotel has a swimming pool, but it is not open voor hotel guests. The swimming pool there is just like a decoration, not worth for a 4 star hotel. Also the smell of the bathroom in the room is terrible, the bad smell comes out of the sink and shower drain. I've complained about that at the reception, but they blame the bad smell to the wind :-(. I will defenitely not recommend this hotel to my friends. 20/08/2023

This hotel was just fine. My room overlooked the parking lot, and if you sat in the far corner of the outside patio, you could see the small beach. The room was very expensive for the type hotel it was.

We stayed at the hotel Moresco for a few nights in July. The hotel is in a great location right on the beach ( a beautiful but very busy beach). You can’t beat the location; it’s exactly what we were looking for. The hotel has an area with sun loungers free for guests beside/above the beach. You can use the free loungers provided (we used them one day). We rented the ones in a separate « upgraded » area the other day (nicer view of the beach). You can also rent loungers directly on the beach for a fee. The hotel is clean and modernly furnished. The beds are comfortable. We didn’t book a room with a view as we knew we would be spending the day on the beach and the evening in town. Our room looked onto a side street. We didn’t really mind. We were hardly in the room. We walked to the town center for to go for dinner every evening. It only took a few minutes (uphill). The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is wonderful. We didn’t eat dinner at the restaurant because we wanted to go to town and experience a little nightlife. The menu looked good. The setting by the pool is beautiful should one decide to eat dinner here. I would return.

We loved everything about this hotel. It’s directly on the beach. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast was plentiful and the a**osphere was elegant. It was close to everything - shops, restaurants, the beach and the port. It was also beautifully decorated.

The location is great. But this is a minimalist hotel. The rooms are basic, small details are omitted. For example, there were not any facial tissues and the glasses for water were four-ounce cheap plastic. Also, the pool is ornamental, no swimming allowed.

Our stay at Hotel Moresco was a 10/10. This was the first weekend they were opened for the season, the staff were so helpful and friendly and the property was beautiful. We would definitely recommend this property and would love to visit again in the future.

I travel full time all year and had the scariest moment of my life at a hotel staying here - made only worse by the hotel’s response. I stayed here in Aug, and my first night I got back to the hotel aft dinner and noticed my A/C wasn’t working - and it was hot! I turned the dial all the way down, waited an hour, and the temperature didn’t budge - A/C was clearly broken. I called down and the only person at reception was a large man - who didn’t believe me. He *insisted* on coming into my room at 1am to check the temperature. I was scared as a woman on my own but finally relented. He came in, checked the temp, turned down the dial as I had, and said it would work shortly. He left, I waited an hour, nothing had changed, and it was too hot for me to fall asleep, and he once again insisted on coming into my room to check. Now it was 2am, and I felt very nervous letting a man into my room. But he insisted again so I finally relented and he checked and saw that it was still as hot. I went downstairs after this to try to find another hotel to stay at, but no place nearby that looked decent had an opening. I was exhausted, went upstairs to try falling asleep again, and at 4:15am the man came knocking on my door demanding to come in to see if the A/C was working. I was shaking. Scared. I called *********** whom I had booked through and on a recorded line I told the agent what was happening. She said she was so sorry and would process a refund for the following night so I could leave in the morning. The following day a manager at the hotel said he was notified that my A/C had been working all night and that I was in the wrong for “refusing” to let the receptionist into my room. The hotel would not refund that night or the following night. *********** then said it was a “he said / she said” situation and that I could not get a refund for either night. I called Visa - and a rep said harassment is not a grounds for refunding. Only Chase Sapphire acted with integrity, eventually refunding me for both nights and acting with compassion and care. No one at the hotel ever apologized or admitted any wrong doing. After that first conversation with a manager, he disappeared for the rest of the day and no other manager would speak with me. If you are a woman or identify as such or vulnerable in any way, do not stay at this hotel. And I hope every manager of this place and the nighttime receptionist are fired and never work in hospitality again. I also deeply regret how *********** handled this - and Visa - and I will be grateful to Chase Sapphire for the rest of my life. Long story short - do not support this hotel. Do not stay here. And parent company, if you read this fire every manager of this hotel because it is a scary place for a woman to stay, and there is s culture at the most senior levels of lying and avoidance. And - the A/C doesn’t work either.
