Courtyard Santiago Airport

Great location, really close to the airport by car. The hotel runs hourly airport transfers. I ran into trouble reaching them beforehand though — there was no contact email available, and I didn’t have a local phone number to call. For future guests needing to arrange the free shuttle, their WhatsApp number is +56 9 4966 3434; the team can sort your transfer out via this chat. My room came with a very generous supply of shower amenities, way more than what I’ve seen at other hotels across South America. That was a pleasant surprise.

Slightly expensive however hotel is situated close to the airport. Sound proofed the building well to block out noise of planes. Very clean and excellent professional service. Food was outstanding. Complimentary promotion of 2 x free drinks with lunch or dinner. Breakfast was offered as take away due to early flight.

This was the most terrible experience in the hotel. I arrived quite late in the night and asked if I can order smthing to eat. The lady in the reception gave me a room service number and advised to order there which was good for me. But when I got to my room and tried to call the room service, nobody answered. The reception was not answering the calls as well. I went down to the reception and told them about the problem. They promised to ask the romm service to call me and take the order. 30mins passed and nobody called, yet neither reception nor room service answering my calls. I had to go back to the 1st floor to see what's going on. I finally ordered my sandwich in the restaurant and asked to bring to my room. Another 30mins passed... Finally, after almost 1 hour 15mins they bought a very bad, totally untasty sandwich to the rooms which I hardly chewed.... Extremely bad hotel and experience. Shame on you, Courtyard!

Hotel 10 min from the airport. Nice rooms, tidy and clean. Breakfast with a wide range of options.
