Poseidon Beach Hotel

Just in front of Kamari beach. Perfect location! Delicious breakfast. Grota - the receptionist was quite helpful. The lady serving the breakfast was kind. Must book this hotel if you want relaxing stay.

The location of the hotel is fantastic, everything you could possibly need is on the doorstep for a short stay. The staff greeted us with a friendly smile and were helpful throughout our stay including booking transfers. The rooms are basic but perfectly functional and comfortable. We paid for a sea view room and it was worth the extra money to have a balcony with stunning views over the pool and out to sea. The breakfast is a bonus and there was something to suit all needs. We enjoyed the pool after a day on the beach and would definitely recommend this lovely friendly little hotel to any traveller.

We had a wonderful time at this hotel! The rooms were really nice with an amazing beach front and mountain side view. It was very affordable but it felt like paradise. Kostas, the receptionist, was so welcoming and friendly the moment we entered the hotel. He made the experience a 10/10!! We definitely recommend this hotel and we will return if ever back in Kamari

Location on the boardwalk was great,check smooth, they didn't receive an email via bookings.com regarding my neck and back surgery requiring me to carry a custom pillow and firm mattress from the hotel with minimal stairs, Room was on the second floor,, problem​!! ​Kathrina ​Kofou the hotel manager was so helping and accommodating,switched rooms to main floor in a matter of minutes , extra blankets towels no problem, ​beach chairs and umbrellas were 20 euros or free if you order drinks and food from the hotel yet hotels along the ***** say chairs are seperate, prices vary from 20-40 euros along the boardwalk. Breakfast buffet has a little of everything with a little special different surprise each morning,quiche one morning ,stuffed something another.​,plenty of food to eat . The accompanying hotel restaurant had the best saganaki , for that matter all the food was great , staff ,waiters. The prices are slightly higher than others​ (a couple of euros) since they all have the same food, quality of food and chef are amazing. Check out was somewhat smooth for the most part, my custom made $200.00 pillow had grown some legs while in the hotel, Katrina like a true manager defended the staff​. so when l went back the next day to see if it had resurfaced​, it was to no avail, when l showed her my current pillow she said it wasn't hers and l asked how did they get that one​ as it was in my pillow case. They state a 2 star but it's an easy 3 star like the rest in Kamari. Unexplainable disappearance,like the Bermuda Triang​le, Bottom line is a great place to stay, one pillow in , zero pillow leaving.

This hotel punches way above its 2 star ratings, this hotel has beachfront location and and has 5 sea view rooms with balconies, the hotel was spotlessly clean which is a credit to the domestic staff which we all found very polite and friendly, good selection for the continental breakfast which we ate on the beachfront restaurant area, which is a great place to watch the sun rise over the Aegean Sea. Good size swimming pool and plenty of sun lounges always plenty available throughout the day. The front of house staff and the manger where very knowledgeable and friendly and where always available to help us, this hotel is well worth the money and gets lots of repeat guests year after year and we will be definitely returning next year

Stayed in the Poseidon Beach Hotel in Kamari for four days, staff are so helpful and friendly, in particular Kostas, Kostas was very informative about the area and places to eat and visit. Katerina also was very warm and friendly, breakfast was good, good choice of food at breakfast time, the hotel was clean and my room was perfect, comfortable bed. The hotel looks out into the beach, so pleasant to eat breakfast by the pool and enjoy the beautiful views of the Aegean sea, beautiful scenery. Definitely recommend the Poseidon Beach Hotel.

The hotel has a very good location, right in front of the beach (a real beach, not a sea full of rocks, like other places in Santorini). If yot have luck as I did, you can see the moonrise (and sunrise, of course) at the sea. Taxis can not reach the hotel, but they drop you circa 150 meters away (an easy walk), at the same point where tours pick passengers up. At the same street of the hotel there are many restaurants, ice cream parlors, souvenir shops, minimarkets and tour agencies. There's a bakery very close by. Even with all those places around it, the hotel is quiet and I think Kamari is a better place to stay in Santorini then other famous areas like Fira or Oia, where access to the hotels are much more difficult and the prices are just shocking. The hotel has a restaurant, but the food is not something special and breakfast could be better. Room is good, as well the bathroom and shower. Staff is kind and very helpful. I would stay there again.

Loved our stay at Poseidon, the hotel deserves more than its 2 stars! Perfect position in Kamari, right on the front overlooking the main street but with little to no noise. We had a semi-basement room with a lovely shared patio, room was simply furnished but had everything we needed. Staff are lovely, the restaurant was great and there were free sunbeds & umbrellas on the beach. Good value for money. Couldn’t be happier with our choice!

I have just spent a week in this lovely hotel, everything from check-in to check out was perfect, the hotel is spotless and all the staff were so nice, especially kostas on reception. I ate breakfast just across the walkway in the poseden restaurant on the beach front, I also used the sunloungers owned by them, which are free if you have lunch or drinks, most days, I had lunch there which was very nice and reasonable the staff there were all very nice and always took the time to chat or wave if I was passing, All in all I had an excellent time and being a solo traveler was made to feel very welcome always felt 100% safe.
