Blu Rooms Santorini

Nice property, but very far from Fira, not convenient for getting around. We found it incredibly windy every day, and we never even got to sit outside. The terrace is more of a shared walkway, so there's little privacy. There's a small pool, but you can't sit there because of the wind, and it's about 60 meters from the property. Breakfast was good.

This hotel is great, a breathtaking view, away from Fira and the crowds but not too much because by quad it takes 15 minutes and you have a bus stop not far from the hotel, plus the village of Akrotiri is full charming with very good little restaurants Finally, the breakfast is excellent with fresh produce. The staff is very kind and always available to provide you with information during your stay. We were not able to try the swimming pool which overlooks the caldera due to a strong wind but it was tempting. Finally, the little gift at the end of your stay is a very pleasant little touch. With all these positive points, why not 5 stars, because we just encountered a small defect linked to the wind: the window door is banging... I think it should be repaired. To resolve the problem we put our suitcase against it and no more noise :) Apart from this negative point this establishment is perfect and we will come back with pleasure

Comments mention certain rooms with somewhat “old-fashioned” facilities, particularly the bathroom. Clearly, the location and the sublime view make this hotel a gem with unbeatable value for money, so if you are looking for the detail that is wrong, ok we find it, but clearly I recommend it. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the sea is absolutely great.
