The only reason this hotel has such high ratings is because the butler asked guests to leave good reviews! If you're seriously considering booking this place, I strongly suggest you read the negative reviews and check out posts on Xiaohongshu, because my experience was pretty much in line with the bad reviews.
1. The airport shuttle requires you to walk quite a distance to the bus parking lot across from Gate 7.
2. The bellhop was helpful with luggage, both when leaving and arriving by taxi. This is the only reason I'm not giving it an abysmal rating.
3. The hotel lobby is tiny, and the elevators are hot. It doesn't feel like a five-star hotel at all.
4. The booking description makes it seem like a lot of amenities are included, but in reality, anyone can use them. You can just walk through the lobby and use whatever you want, as they don't even check if you're a guest. The ball pit in the kids' area was overflowing with rowdy children. It was dirty and felt like a free-for-all.
5. For a 'Deluxe Sea View Room,' you literally have to stick your head out the window and look sideways to catch a glimpse of the sea. A true beachfront view is a 15-minute walk away, and you have to pass a cemetery to get there. Don't believe me? Check the map – there are ancient tombs along the coast nearby! The bed was extremely soft and saggy, and the sheets had very obvious yellow stains. The room even had an induction hob and range hood... It felt old, damp, and truly underwhelming, more like a cheap guesthouse.
6. The hotel breakfast was poorly managed, especially regarding cleanliness. It was overcrowded, and I couldn't find a place to sit and eat with my plate. The indoor dining area also smelled heavily of cooking oil.
