We had a wonderful stay! The hotel is in a fantastic location, making it very convenient to get around and sightsee. The service was very prompt; when we requested a stroller and children's body wash, they were delivered to our room very quickly. We stayed in an ocean-view room, but the view was quite average, and the sand on the beach was very coarse with not much to do there—though that might just be how Haitang Bay is. The hotel's supporting facilities are rather mediocre; coming here for a family vacation with a little one, it felt like there wasn't much for kids to do. There is a very small pool, but the water wasn't very clean and there was a lot of sand in it. The kids' club is basically just a place for doing crafts. The breakfast selection was not extensive either. While the restaurant is very large and features an open kitchen, surprisingly none of the chefs wore masks. Overall, the hotel doesn't feel suitable for a family vacation.

Great location, right in the heart of Haitang Bay. Having McDonald's and Wanda Cinema right outside the entrance is super convenient. The breakfast was quite mediocre and definitely needs improvement. On the bright side, the hotel's Nanhai Licun restaurant, which serves authentic Hainan ethnic cuisine, was very good, and they even offer group-buying deals. There's a bonfire party in the evening which is fun to check out—very lively and enthusiastic! However, the hotel has been open for quite a long time, so the room facilities are outdated. The air conditioner only has two vents and doesn't cool well, and the balcony sliding door was also very hard to open!

Pet-friendly with activities for kids, making it a great choice for family travel. The butler, ELLA, provided excellent and responsive service. The hotel's location is fantastic. After a room upgrade, our balcony overlooked the pool, allowing direct access. It's also connected to the Ruihua next door, so you can easily stroll through their public areas. This is my second time visiting Wanda Vista Sanya Haitang Bay, and as a returning guest, the experience once again exceeded my expectations. We booked three different hotels for our annual leave, and this was by far the worst experience. We originally chose it as a two-night transit stop because of its convenient location near Wuzhizhou Island and Atlantis. On the second night, we found rove beetles in the room. After changing rooms, we found a gecko. When we reported this, the staff actually said this was 'normal'! They tried to catch it but failed, and their solution was to offer yet another room change. At 10 PM, they brought us a new room key, but the magnetic strip didn't work. To top it all off, the new room still had rove beetles and a gecko. All the staff members were male, had terrible attitudes, and were difficult to communicate with. Across all six rooms we booked (including our original ones), even after we explicitly requested a deep disinfection, the hygiene standards were still appalling—there were still rove beetles and geckos, as well as unidentifiable hairs and stains. From discovering the first bug at 9 PM until we finally just gave up and went to sleep at 2 AM, our rest and the next day's itinerary were completely ruined.

After a long search, I found that for this price, the location in Haitang Bay is unbeatable. The rooms are very spacious, all with private balconies, though they don't offer sea views. To get to the beach, you have to walk through the hotel's garden. There are many swimming pools, but only one was open during my visit. We planned two days in Haitang Bay during our Sanya trip. Initially, we booked a hotel-style apartment near Atlantis Waterpark, which had high online ratings. However, as soon as we checked in, we were shocked by how old and outdated the facilities were. We negotiated with the hotel, paid a 30% cancellation fee, and checked out. Afterward, we rebooked at the Wanda Realm Resort, and both my daughter and I were pleasantly surprised: 1. The facilities were incredibly new, and the hotel lobby was grand. 2.
