Yalong Bay Mangrove Tree Resort

Came to Sanya for a vacation ~ This time I chose the well-established Mangrove Tree Resort. Overall, the experience was great! As soon as I entered, I added the butler Coral on WeChat ~ I could contact the butler for anything! The room was very large and cool, and they even upgraded us to a sea-view room! It was really a wonderful experience. They also offered free photography and many other free activities at the hotel. It's truly suitable for families with kids and elderly people on vacation. Plus, parking is convenient and dining is easy! I'll definitely come back to Mangrove Tree Resort if I have the chance next time. No regrets this time ~ Haha.

Far exceeded expectations! They even provided complimentary fruit and milk on the first day. The ocean-view room offered great value for money with an amazing field of vision—you could see the sea right from the balcony. Sitting outside at night was super breezy and comfortable, and you could hear people singing by the beach. During the National Day holiday, there was even a molten iron fireworks show (Da Tie Hua) which we could watch right from the balcony. The public areas are spacious with great landscaping and tons of coconut trees; it was so relaxing to grab a lounger by the beach in the afternoon and gaze at the sea. While taking a stroll, I passed by the Scarecrow Farm and was surprised to find quite a few cute small animals. There's a night market just a few hundred meters away, making dining out or ordering delivery very convenient. Our butler, Coral, was extremely thoughtful, warm, and attentive. We added each other on WeChat on the first day, and she would proactively check if we needed more bottled water. Her responses were always prompt. Highly satisfied!

The room is a bit small, and the rooms on the second floor lack privacy, but it offers great value for money. The kids' play area is huge, featuring both indoor and outdoor sections. It's also very close to the beach with fine sand, making it a great spot for children to play in the water.

The room was great and very clean! The ocean view was absolutely breathtaking! The hotel's public areas are beautiful and the food was delicious too. It's super convenient to walk to the beach. Our butler, Coral, was exceptionally attentive and provided wonderful service. She was very responsive and patient~

The surroundings are beautiful, and the hotel connects directly to the beach—you step right out onto the sand and ocean, making it a very relaxing vacation. The hotel is a bit on the older side, so I managed my expectations for the room, but it felt renovated with nice touches like motorized curtains, making the stay very comfortable. The ocean view from the 3rd floor was slightly obstructed; you'd probably get a much better view on a higher floor. Our butler, Coral, provided exceptionally warm and thoughtful service, giving us detailed introductions and promptly answering any questions—many thanks! The hotel also offers plenty of family-friendly activities. It was a thoroughly enjoyable holiday, and both the baby and the elderly family members had a great time.

The room was very clean, and we chose the larger suite. - It didn't feel crowded at all for a family of three; - Right downstairs is the pool, and I saw the staff cleaning it punctually every day—very clean. Also, the towels are genuinely well-sanitized and tumble-dried...; - The balcony view was fantastic, with a great distant sea view; - The breakfast was a bonus with plenty of options, and they even had a baby menu (spaghetti, bowtie pasta, pumpkin puree); - The service was also good. Our butler, Coral, was very attentive and I practically treated her like a robot, asking her tons of questions (since I was too lazy to do any research, haha). - ⭐️ On the first night, I called the front desk to ask where I could find a microwave to heat up some food for the baby... The front desk said "one moment," and shortly after, they delivered an entire microwave straight to our room 😂😂😂😂. - The beach in the back was also gorgeous and very well-maintained. On one sunny day, we got to see that crystal-clear glass-like sea!

This stay truly exceeded my expectations—a well-deserved 5 stars! I booked a Garden View King Room on the second floor. Opening the window revealed lush greenery; the swaying palm trees were so incredibly soothing. The room was cozy and well-appointed, complete with a small sofa and coffee table. Lounging there in the evening with a cup of tea, taking in the view, gave the ultimate vacation vibe. But the absolute highlight was our butler, Coral! She reached out proactively before check-in to ask about our preferences and share local travel tips. Once we arrived, she went above and beyond for every request. I casually mentioned craving some fruit, and shortly after, a fresh fruit platter was delivered right to our room—such a thoughtful touch. Throughout the stay, it felt less like staying at a hotel and more like visiting a friend. Coral’s service was attentive without ever being intrusive. The garden view room was quiet and comfortable, the amenities were practical, and the scenery was a huge bonus. With such a dependable butler, I’ll definitely choose this place again on my next trip to Sanya. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. You can't go wrong with Mangrove Tree and Coral!

My boyfriend was such a good sport, even though we booked at a really high price last minute. Carol provided excellent service, always following up promptly. Any issues with the room, I just contacted her. Even when I called someone on a whim, they arrived very quickly, showing great attentiveness. The front desk staff, Wendy, was such a cute young lady! Her Guangxi accent made me think she was from out of town, but she's actually local. We had a great time and will definitely come again.
