Traveling to Sanya with my family this summer, we chose the Haiyun Hotel, located right on Coconut Dream Corridor. First off, the location is fantastic – step right out onto the beach, and there are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. What really stood out was the service from the staff member who checked us in; he was incredibly welcoming and everything was perfectly arranged. He was always quick to respond to any requests, and the service was just so thoughtful. Looking forward to our next visit!

The hotel's location is fantastic! The Southeast Asian-themed gardens, especially with the sunset views in the evening, are stunning – perfect for photos. The loungers scattered around both ends of the lobby create a very relaxing atmosphere. A big shout-out to the staff member who checked us in; he was very enthusiastic. The central pool was full of kids having a great time. Looking forward to our next visit!

What I loved most about my stay at the Haiyun Resort was its location and surroundings. The hotel opens right onto Coconut Dream Corridor, and you don't even have to cross a road to get to the beach – there's an underpass that leads directly there. It's incredibly convenient for families with elderly members or young children. In the evening, my family and I strolled along the beach, watching the sunset paint the sky with a stunning 'orange sea' – the romance of it all is truly indescribable. The hotel's landscape design also has a lovely Southeast Asian vibe, with coconut trees and lounging sofas everywhere, making you feel completely relaxed the moment you step in. The room was spacious and bright, and while the facilities weren't the newest, they were meticulously clean. There was a slight dampness, but overall, it felt comfortable and reassuring to stay there.

Haitang is ideally located, not far from the airport or the high-speed train station. There are also plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby, making it a great value choice for a trip to Sanya Bay! A special shout-out to the staff member responsible for our room; they were attentive to our itinerary and needs from check-in to check-out. We had a wonderful experience and hope to see them again!

Pros: 1. **Great Location:** The hotel is conveniently close to the airport. Right across the road, there's a coconut grove and a fitness trail perfect for walks. It's also easy to get to all the attractions on the west side of Sanya. 2. **Popular and Bustling:** It's a large hotel that's always busy with guests, which speaks to its popularity. 3. **Excellent Chinese Restaurant:** The Chinese restaurant on the hotel's basement level (B1) is fantastic. The food is delicious, the ambiance is elegant and quiet, and they offer a wide variety of dishes that aren't pre-made. The prices are comparable to what you'd pay outside, often at places that might overcharge tourists. The only downside is that it's a bit hard to find. The hotel should really do a better job promoting this restaurant; many guests order takeout when they really don't need to. 4. **Generous Fruit Platter:** The complimentary fruit platter was huge, more than we could eat! However, many of the fruits had skin, so it would be a nice touch if they provided a peeler for guests. Cons: 1. **Poor Soundproofing:** The room doors offer very little sound insulation. Every noise from the hallway is amplified into the room. If you're looking for peace and quiet, I'd recommend choosing another hotel. 2. **Noisy Guests:** The hotel attracts many families with children, and unfortunately, some guests lack consideration. The kids can be very noisy. Again, if you're seeking a tranquil stay, this might not be the place for you. 3. **Musty Smell and High Humidity:** The room had a musty smell, which is a common issue for seaside hotels, and the humidity was very high. However, unlike most coastal hotels that provide air purifiers and dehumidifiers, this hotel had none. When I tried to rent these devices from the hotel, I was told they weren't available.

On my vacation trip to Sanya, I checked into the Hainan Haiyun Hotel, located right on Coconut Dream Corridor. The location and environment were top-notch. The staff member who checked us in was very welcoming, and the room we were assigned had a great view. Over the past couple of days, any requests I messaged were answered promptly.
