Nanshan Hotel

As a long-time returning guest, I make it a point to stay here every year for my spiritual pilgrimage. This visit was a delightful surprise! The hotel has undergone a complete renovation, with brand-name furniture throughout and high-end bedding, all of which elevate the cleanliness, comfort, and overall quality. Even arriving late at night, the staff were warmly welcoming, providing service that felt as 친절하고 편안했습니다. The breakfast was plentiful and satisfying, and the peaceful atmosphere is perfect for a spiritual retreat. This is truly my top choice for pilgrimages, and I look forward to returning year after year. It's a shame I didn't take any photos inside the hotel.

After a year of anticipation, I finally got to stay here. We arrived at the foot of the Buddha before opening hours and ascended to the lotus pedestal around 8 AM. The air was fresh, and the scenery was beautiful. Our room was almost directly facing Guanyin, offering a fantastic view! We'll definitely be back next year.

Pretty good, honestly. Facilities: Overall, really good and new. Hygiene: Very clean. Environment: Very comfortable and cozy. Service: Excellent. Arranged for an extra bed in advance, and check-in was super easy upon arrival – just a quick registration.

The location is superb, right inside the Nanshan Scenic Area. It's a collection of villas, and from the room balcony, you can see the Nanshan Guanyin in the distance. The hotel's dining options are also decent, and the price is acceptable.

Located within the scenic area, the hotel boasts a beautiful, tranquil environment. It's very close to the Guanyin statue, which you can see right from your balcony. The service was great, especially the shuttle service, which was on-call and very prompt. Breakfast was plentiful, and it offered excellent value for money.

Our room was on the first floor with an outdoor balcony, and we could see the Guanyin statue as soon as we opened the balcony door. Although the hotel has been open for some years and the facilities are a bit old, it's very clean and hygienic. The hotel shuttle service was free and took us directly to our room and the entrance of the Nanshan Scenic Area Guanyin statue. It was a great experience.

Staying within the scenic area, there's a shuttle bus that takes you directly to the entrance of the Nanhai Guanyin. This allows you to visit Guanyin before the large crowds arrive. From our room on the third floor, we had a direct view of Guanyin from the balcony, which was very satisfying. The only downsides were that the room and balcony glass doors weren't soundproof, and the toilet was a bit old, but these weren't major issues. I'd definitely choose to stay here again if I have the chance.

The surroundings are really lovely, both the hotel grounds and the scenic area are fantastic. However, the room itself was a letdown. The toilet was constantly clogged, and the bathroom was a sight for sore eyes. I stayed for three days and didn't dare to shower; the shower door wouldn't close properly, and the overall cleanliness wasn't great – touching anything just made me feel uncomfortable. On the bright side, the balcony was a unique feature, with rattan chairs and a small table, making it very pleasant to sit and relax after a day out. The service was good though; we could enter and exit the scenic area freely every day, and there were shuttle carts to take us to the main square. The square had all sorts of snacks, which was very convenient.

I brought my parents to Hainan, and this was our first stop. Overall, we were very satisfied. The moment we stepped into the hotel lobby, we were awestruck by the Guanyin (Goddess of Mercy) statue view. Highly recommended. Room Facilities: The rooms are distributed among different 'houses.' The higher floors don't have elevators, but the tallest is only about three stories, which is acceptable. The room facilities have everything you'd expect, clean and hygienic, meeting all our needs. Transportation: Since the hotel is inside the park, you first need to take a taxi to the East Gate of the scenic area. At the gate, security will register your information and then contact the hotel's golf cart to pick you up, which is quite convenient. If you want to leave the park, just contact the front desk for an exit pass. Service: I mentioned to the front desk that I hoped for a room with a view of Guanyin for my parents, and they arranged it directly. Sitting on the balcony at night, looking at the illuminated Guanyin statue was quite breathtaking.
