I had an early morning flight, so I chose Sanya Bay for a transit stay. This Holiday Inn Express has an excellent location, just a few minutes' walk to the beach, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. The hotel facilities are a bit dated, though. The front desk upgraded my room, but the soundproofing isn't great; I could hear a lot of door opening and closing noises from the hallway in the morning. The service was decent overall. It's fine for a one-night stay.
