DoubleTree by Hilton Sanya Bay

The hotel is quite close to the airport, about a 15-minute drive, and I booked it specifically for an early flight the next day. Right across the road downstairs from the hotel is Sanya Bay, along the Coconut Dream Corridor, perfect for catching the sunset and beachcombing in the afternoon. There are some seafood restaurants nearby, but not many. The hotel facilities are a bit old, as it's been open for many years. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, and the breakfast variety is excellent. I booked a 'super sea view room' which offered ocean views. The hotel grounds are just average and not very spacious. Overall, it offers decent value for money, especially considering it's on the cheaper side for a Hilton.

Huge room with an extra-wide balcony and fantastic views. The front desk staff were very warm and friendly, and even gave us a free room upgrade. The only minor flaw was a slight musty smell in the room, probably because it hasn't been occupied much during the low season. Right downstairs are the coconut groves, sandy beach, and the ocean.

Choosing the DoubleTree by Hilton Sanya Bay made for such a romantic getaway. The ocean views are stunning, and the hotel grounds are gorgeous with tropical scenery everywhere—it's super photogenic. The room is spacious, quiet with great soundproofing, and the balcony offers incredible views. It's within walking distance of the Coconut Dream Corridor, where the seaside sunset is breathtaking. The pool area is comfortable, and the breakfast has a great variety of options. The service was warm and attentive, and the overall atmosphere is quiet and peaceful, making it ideal for couples looking to relax and unwind. A 10/10 experience! The doorman was very welcoming. We'll definitely be back.

Our National Day family trip to the seaside was such a pleasant surprise—we could admire the gorgeous ocean view the moment we looked up. The resort was very lively and offered a fantastic variety of activities specially designed for children. Without having to run around outside, we enjoyed a wonderful time right at the hotel, soaking in the sea views while spending quality time with the kids. It was an absolute bliss!
