Sanya Haitang Bay Heyi Swimming Pool Villa

This trip, with five or six of us, chose this place and it was absolutely fantastic! The villa area was super quiet for sleeping too! And the pool area was incredibly relaxing to sit by! It was a very comfortable stay, excellent value for money, and I'd definitely choose it again next time!

For the price, a pool villa isn't bad at all. However, I'll share my honest experience. If you've stayed at a decent five-star hotel in Sanya for the past couple of days, then I don't recommend this place. Firstly, the front desk is tiny and cluttered, right next to the community's security booth. Secondly, no one helps with luggage or provides any service when you go to your room. Then, the room's decor isn't really 'hotel-like'; it's more like an old-fashioned family apartment. When I walked in, I honestly thought I'd entered someone's home. The entire room's facilities are a bit dated – a yellowish bathroom, cracked walls, cobwebs... The hotel's cleanliness isn't thorough either; I found an uncleaned toothbrush in the master bedroom. The pool wasn't very clean either; the poor water quality was obvious. Throughout my stay, I had no desire to get into the pool. From check-in to check-out, I didn't step foot in it. So, if you're looking for value for money, you can consider staying here. But if you're looking for quality, I wouldn't recommend it. For a 500 RMB villa, you could actually spend a bit more and stay in a five-star hotel's villa, where at least you'd want to get in the water.

This is my second stay here. I stayed here on my last visit as well, and chose it again this time. Parking is very convenient and cheap, only 6 yuan for a whole day. This time, I was upgraded to a three-bedroom unit. Coincidentally, it was in the same courtyard as my previous stay. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the pool water is also very clean. Ordering takeout to the room is super convenient. My family really loved the room. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Sanya.

Staying here for three nights cost over 7,000 RMB, and every minute was pure agony. I've been to Hainan countless times, but I've never booked such an incredibly, incredibly, incredibly terrible hotel. It's so bad I wouldn't go near this place even if they paid me. Checking out felt like a huge relief; I just wanted to get to the next hotel and take a long shower, disinfecting all our belongings. We spent Chinese New Year here... just imagine the trauma. The only reason we booked this place was because of the small courtyard pool. I saw a review that said, 'The staff changed the pool water as soon as we got to the room,' so I assumed it was changed for every guest. I asked them to change the water right after check-in, but they said changing the water costs 200 RMB and isn't done for every guest. I didn't care about the 200 RMB, but my dad said the freshly changed water, not exposed to the sun, would still have a lot of chlorine tablets, so we shouldn't bother. This tiny, dilapidated pool has no filter or equipment, and the water is disgusting. I felt gross just putting my feet in it. All the room facilities are dilapidated. Calling it a pile of junk is an understatement! Everything in the room was moldy! The sink wouldn't drain. Every time I washed my face, water went everywhere. They sent someone to fix it several times, but it never got fixed and just ended up super dirty. There were unknown blood/stains under the bedding. Since the cleaning staff looked unhygienic themselves, we didn't ask for a change. We just put paper down ourselves and slept very uneasily! The hotel manager's service attitude was also extremely poor. We reported the non-draining sink, and someone came to fix it, making the room very dirty. But their staff left at 6 PM, so I could only say we'd deal with it the next day. The next morning, their cleaning staff walked right into our room and started cleaning while we were still sleeping, waking us up. I confronted the manager about why they entered without permission, and the manager responded with extreme disdain, saying, 'That's just how we do things. Meaning, we don't care if you're unhappy. Whatever, *hehe*.' I immediately hung up. No point talking to unreasonable people. The mosquito repellent provided in the room was useless. My child got more than ten bites on their face in the middle of the night. I had to order other mosquito repellent online. I was so furious I wanted to cry! There's nothing around here either, *hehe*. Those who understand will know what I mean.

The three rooms were perfect for our family, and everyone had a great time! It was also very quiet, so we slept well! We really enjoyed our stay! It's like a small sparrow, but it has all the vital organs – everything you need despite its size! Next time we'll stay longer, this trip was too rushed! Highly recommend it! Facilities: Quite comprehensive. Hygiene: The bedding was alright! The yard was just okay. Environment: Quiet. Service: They were very responsive to all our requests.

The location was inaccurate, and I couldn't get through on the phone. Luckily, I asked for the correct number at another hotel. The room's cleanliness was mediocre; the bedding and towels smelled of smoke. The kids really enjoyed the pool!
