Nice hotel in a great location with huge rooms and terraces. Arrived at 3 pm but was checked in at least one hour later. For some unknown reason I got a room with kids toys, decoration and kids playground, thought I was travelling without kids… The floor was wet and had a strange smell from a mop that was probably not washed properly. Breakfast was not very good, most cooked dishes too oily and not much to eat for European people.

Clean rooms. The beautiful view opens from the room. Cleaning room every day. The staff is friendly, good location. There are disposable toothbrushes, disposable hygiene items, 2 bottles of water give every day. The price as for such hotel, is very pleasant

The hotel is located on the beach of Dadonghai, only a 5-minute walk to the beach, where you can enjoy the sun and waves. The surrounding facilities downstairs of the hotel are very mature, and there are a variety of restaurants here, whether it is local specialties or international cuisine, you can satisfy your taste buds. Numerous snacks and night markets allow you to enjoy the fun of food at night. In addition, there are many shops around for you to buy daily necessities and souvenirs. It is worth mentioning that there is a large supermarket on the negative first floor of the hotel, with a rich variety of goods and affordable prices, which provides great convenience for our lives. We booked a king-size bed room, which is very suitable for a family of three. The bed is soft and comfortable, allowing us to get a full rest after a tiring day. The decoration of the room is simple and generous, with complete facilities, clean and tidy, which makes people feel particularly warm. The service of the hotel is also commendable. The staff is warm and friendly, with a kind attitude, and always able to meet our needs in time. Whether consulting at the front desk or dining in the restaurant, we can feel their professionalism and enthusiasm. In general, this is a hotel with a superior location, mature surrounding facilities, comfortable rooms and thoughtful service. If you are planning a vacation to Dadonghai, I strongly recommend you to choose this hotel. I believe you will have a pleasant vacation!

Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Room has a full kitchen and grocery store close by. American, Italian and Russian restaurants all within short walking distance. Dolphin was exceptionally good. Swim coach was excellent with a good transition to coral reef snorkeling after a few pool sessions. Definitely try and travel outside official Chinese holidays as it can get very busy in the neighborhood

Excellent apartments on the territory of the Baohong hotel, 7 minutes from the sea, surrounded by dozens of shops, cafes and markets. We lived on the 3rd and 13th floors in the most affordable rooms. Both options are spacious (stated as 110 sq.m.) apartments with two bedrooms and bathrooms, well equipped - slippers, towels + beach, inflatable tubes, children's toys, washing, cleaning, laundry, hygiene products (disposable sets with a toothbrush and paste, cotton swabs, mosquito repellents with a fumigator); pots, pans, dishes, a multicooker, a kettle, a microwave - everything is there. Each room has central air conditioning, solid nets on the windows. The mattresses and pillows are thick, not sagging, the linen is clean, it is comfortable to sleep. There is a cooler with water in each room, changed upon request at any time. Finally, you don't have to drag yourself to the water machines or to the store for water. The water pressure and temperature are excellent. No noise from the neighbors, everything is quiet. The manager, who introduced himself as Mikhail for our convenience, speaks and understands Russian and is always in touch and immediately comes to you to solve any issues that arise It seems he never rests, you rarely meet such caring managers. Early check-in (5 hours before check-in) was provided free of charge, which saved us after a painfully long road, and late check-in (7 hours after check-out) was provided for half the cost of the room (~ 150 yuan). Very pleased. Out of 2 weeks of vacation, it rained for a week, and 3 pools on the hotel grounds saved the situation, the water is warm, the child swam every day for many hours, probably swallowed water and never got poisoned or felt unwell. The pool is looked after! There is also a simple stuffy gym for 10 yuan, a library and a couple of children's slides. Overall, the impressions are extremely positive - both the location, and the size of the room, and the staff, and the manager. The only drawbacks are superficial cleaning, it is better not to move the sofa, and a little wear and tear of the rooms, but all small and not annoying - somewhere the latch of the toilet door does not latch, somewhere the entrance lock does not open the first time. Overall, it is still better than expected and I recommend it for living!

Perfect location - a short walk to both restaurants and the beach. So good to have such a spacious apartment with all the little amenities of a hotel room. Daily cleaning was provided at our convenience, and the washing machine made life easy. The only thing that could improve it is a microwave. We will definitely choose to stay here again when we return to Sanya.

I had a pleasant stay. The room is very small, but clean. The furniture is old and a little out dated. The hotel staff including the concierge were friendly and accommodating, Vanessa was the only staff to speak English. She gave me so much help and services. The hotel location is great with a private lounger on the beach. The breakfast was rich. The hotel allowed me to check out late which was nice of them, I had an afternoon flight.

We've stayed at pearl river garden for 3 nights, overall, we have enjoyed our stay. Everyone at the hotel are so friendly and welcoming from the day we arrived. (Which we value this more than anything) Special shout out to Jim, who has made the stay very memorable. The room is clean, though not very spacious, but it was ok for us, a family of four. Great location, probably one of the best locations in the area, easy access to the beach, very family friendly. The only drawback, if there is any, would be the pungent smell that hits me every time I walk in the room, I'm guessing it's the cleaning chemical they use around the hotel rooms. All in all, Thank you Jim and everyone in the hotel for looking after us during the stay, will definitely recommend anyone who wishes to stay in the area. This is a geniuen review made after the departure (not some awkward on the spot review). I hope this is useful to others.

The big issue was nobody could speak English and everyone could speak Chinese and Russian. People from reception wasn't really keen to help at all.When I booked the hotel I chose to book with some gifts. Those gifts no one gave me but when I asked at the reception they gave me some vouchers without explanation. So if you can’t speak Chinese don’t bother to book an offer with gifts provided. Although the hotel has a great location and the view is amazing.

This hotel served its purpose and generally did so well. Excellent location. Pretty good breakfast. Nice amenities and layout. Cleanliness okay, though a little worn and dated in places, particularly the carpets outside of the rooms in the halls. Additional fees for use of pool floaties and towels. Use of extra water naturally incurred fees but also an aggressive knocking and doorbell ringing in the middle of the day to give me the receipt for the waters, waking us up from a nap for no good reason... Would prefer if the fee was simply noted at checkout. Overall pretty good and worth the price.
