Orange Hotel properties in Sanya

I've never left a negative hotel review before, but Orange Hotel Sanya Bay is the first. 1. First, due to a power outage caused by a typhoon, the hotel was running on a generator, which meant the AC wasn't working and it was extremely hot. I understand that. The front desk promised to send up two handheld fans. However, after waiting for two to three hours and making four calls to both inquire and urge them, the fans finally arrived at our door around 11:30 PM. They did offer breakfast as compensation later, which I appreciate, but the service response time was the slowest I've ever experienced at any hotel under the HUAZHU Group. 2. I ordered two food deliveries. After 20 minutes, they still hadn't arrived, so I called the front desk to inquire. After repeatedly confirming that there were two separate orders and their respective restaurant names, they assured me they would be sent up. However, when the delivery robot arrived the first time, it only had one of the orders. I called the front desk again, only to be told they *hadn't seen the second order at all*. After my strong insistence, they finally said, 'Alright, we'll go look for it again. We won't bother you for now.' (My thought: Not getting my food is exactly what's bothering me!) Eventually, the second delivery finally arrived. 3. Typically, when staying at HUAZHU Group hotels, I've always been able to get a late check-out until 2 PM. I had also confirmed my HUAZHU membership benefits, which should guarantee a check-out time of at least 1 PM. However, the front desk called me just before noon, demanding I check out. They refused to acknowledge my HUAZHU late check-out privilege, citing that I had booked through Ctrip. Does this mean I can only enjoy my membership benefits if I book directly through HUAZHU's official app or mini-program? If so, this membership feels quite pointless. On a positive note, the room facilities were new, the environment was pleasant, and the location was convenient. However, the service staff's performance was severely lacking. I truly hope for improvements.

The room was generally in average condition. - Stains sighted on the couch. - Toilet stinks with pee smell despite washing the whole toilet. Told the roomkeeper to replace the trash bag which I suspected the origin of the pee smell. The pee smell gone after the replacement. - The swimming pool view wasn't impressive, but sea view is available from balcony. There is complimentary self-service for laundry and luggage deposit. There is wide breakfast selection and many restaurants within walking distance.

Not bad at all. It's quite close to Phoenix Airport, and there are plenty of dining options nearby, which is convenient. The price is reasonable too, and the staff are very enthusiastic. Even though it's located in a small town, it's actually pretty good for the area. I forgot to take pictures.
