SAPPORO HOTEL by GRANBELL

The hotel is nice and clean, well facilitated and generous in supplying amenities for cleaning and tea. The onsen/ hot spring is relaxing. Breakfast is abundant and full of options. The only thing is the location which is a bit far from the Sapporo station. It could be great if if provides shuttle bus between the station and the hotel.

We visited as a family of four (two adults and two children) for two nights and truly appreciated several aspects of our time here: Spacious & Spotless Room: The accommodations were exceptionally clean and spacious, offering lovely surrounding views. Comfortable Bedding: Both the bed and pillows were remarkably comfortable, making for a restful sleep. Thoughtful Amenities: Having all necessary toiletries fully prepared and ready upon arrival was greatly appreciated. Few areas of concern to your attention so they may be addressed for future guests: Breakfast Queue: The waiting times and long queues for the morning breakfast buffet were quite significant. Onsen Water Supply Interruption: On our second night, the water supply in the onsen area was suddenly suspended while guests were actively showering. This was particularly inconvenient for those left with shampoo and soap to rinse, and unfortunately, it prevented us from enjoying the onsen on our final morning. Ice Cream Machine Malfunction: The ice cream machine served liquid instead of proper soft-serve during our visit. We do, however, appreciate how promptly the team responded and fixed the issue once informed.

room felt smaller than it was because of the long corridor. we could not use the laundromat at all because there were only 3 machines and 1 was down. the two machines left were also constantly in use and people were using baskets to reserve their spots in the queue, which felt very unfair. the gym also only opens at 1pm which did not make any sense at all. shoes were also not allowed in the gym, so we had to use the gym in just our socks. others were barefoot. however, kids were allowed in the gym. in our one hour there we noticed several groups of families coming in with their kids and they were running on the treadmill without their shoes. highly do not recommend this hotel and would not stay again.

The onsen is too crowded. Need to queue up for bath, dry hair and locker is not enough. Location close to sushi restaurant

Quite a newish hotel, location is fine, needs some walking to the train station. Brekkie selection is ok also, but what I like most about it is the public bath is rather huge by normal standards. There are four pools (including an outdoor one) which you can try. And a floor above the public bath is a huge guest lounge which all can access. Reminds me of a Korean-style public bath. And the Olive skincare products they provide is good too

New hotel so hardware is good, rooms are big by Japanese standards and onsen has a nice view but very crowded at times and clientele a bit loud and rude…

The location is good. Near to subway and not too noisy. The hotel looks new and overall its quite clean.
