Overall, we had a good stay at Sapporo Tokyu REI Hotel. It is a basic hotel, but it has everything you need for a comfortable stay.
The room was a bit compact, but for two people, the space was still manageable. We just had to keep our luggage folded or properly organized so there was enough room to move around comfortably.
The amenities are quite simple. There is no lounge or onsen, and there was no complimentary bottled water in the room. What worked well for us was buying a 2-liter bottle of water from a nearby convenience store, then refilling it from the hotel’s water dispenser every morning. That was enough to keep water in our room for the whole day and made things much more convenient.
The best thing about this hotel is definitely the location. It is excellent. Susukino, restaurants, shops, convenience stores, and public transportation are all very accessible, which made getting around Sapporo very easy.
Overall, it is a simple and practical hotel with a top-notch location. I would recommend it if your priority is convenience and you don’t need a lot of extra hotel facilities.
