Hotel Novoa

A beautiful building with amazing views from the outside eating area. The evening meal was lovely and incredibly cheap! And even better, breakfast started at 6.30am so we could get up and go. A friendly welcome and lovely start to our Camino journey.

Stayed 1 night prior to starting the Camino. Juan at the front desk was fantastic. He took the time to explain everything we needed to know and go to in Sarria and where to start the Camino which was basically around the corner. We purchased our Camino Credentials at the hotel. Room was excellent with very comfy memory foam beds. Very clean and modern. Bathroom had small soaps, bath gel and toothpaste in packets along with 2 toothbrushes. We used the washer and dryer that is in the basement. Washer had soap automatically in it and 3.50. Dryer was 2.00 No english channels on the TV. Would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic small hotel, modern but with character. Staff so friendly, welcoming & helpful, with advice on starting The Camino. We were able to purchase our passports here for 2 euros & get them stamped at the hotel & also at the restaurant attached which does a fantastic pilgrims menu with simple local food & wine for 11 euros. The start to the Camino is nearby. Would certainly recommend & would return if in the area again.

We stayed here before starting our hike on the Camino de Santiago and it was right on the route, which is great as it minimized walking besides the hiking we were doing. It had a restaurant there, with others nearby. The accommodation was typical of the places we stayed during our hike. The staff was very helpful and friendly, which was nice since we arrived tired from an overnight flight and a train trip. It wasn't luxurious, but was a decent place to stay right in the old part of Sarria.

It was very hard to find the hotel, all the streets at Sarria are under repair, even the locals have problems to move around. It was not a problem of the hotel.

I loved this hotel—just loved it. Sparkling clean. Beautiful, hardwood floors. Clean, modern building that blends well with the town hall and police station directly across the street. Stylish room. Great bed. Powerful shower. A lovely shared patio overlooking the city. Lovely staff. A really nice sleep at a really nice hotel. Stay here!

Absolutely wonderful! Very clean. The staff was great.. Lots to do in the area. Walkable.

We were running late and the very nice young man at the front desk called to make sure we were okay. Old world meets modern hotel. Great room. Great food!
