This is an excellent choice for seeing Saumur. It is in an old building with a lot of character. My room was large, with wooden beamed ceiling, tall windows that opened, and a limestone fireplace I wish I had in my home. Ensuite had shower and had plenty of space. Bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly and quite helpful. The hotel is part of a very large restaurant with good food and good service. It is in the main shopping and dining area, and within a short walk to the Chateau, which is the major attraction of Saumur. I would like to stay there again.

Sweet hotel with a good restaurant menu. Friendly obliging staff on the whole comfortable room and good shower in a small bathroom. Nice views across the river and convenient for shops bars and restaurants. Be warned no lift and there are 4 floors with a very narrow staircase!

This is our second visit within 5 weeks using this hotel as a stopover en route down to Perpignan. The staff are great as was our room and the hotel facilities. It’s position in Saumur is perfect and we would highly recommend.

Great logis to stay in for a 'city' break! Close to everything, all the action of Saumur. Wonderful staff. Clean through out, very comfy bed, super breakfast. During this Covid time, distance of tables on the terrace were respected. Nothing really negative to say.

Nous avons décidé au dernier moment de faire étape pour une nuit à Saumur. Situé face à la Loire cet hôtel nous a attiré par son emplacement central. Il restait de la place et nous avons choisi une chambre donnant sur le fleuve. Même si la salle de bain mériterait une bonne rénovation, la chambre était confortable et agréable, avec ses deux fenêtres qui permettent d'admirer le majestueux cours d'eau. Le personnel s'est montré efficace et très gentil. Même si c'était le marché (qui est superbe)le lendemain, nous avons trouvé facilement un stationnement aux abords de l'établissement. Nous n'avons pas pris le petit déjeuner. Bref, nous recommandons cet hôtel dont les tarifs sont tout à fait modérés.

Belle surprise car on a été surclassé mais les toilettes ´ étaient pas nettoyer en effet il y a avait du papier toilette et de l urine dans la cuvette des toilettes.

L’hôtel est très chaud et l’orque l’on veut aéré, surprise la hotte de la cuisine du restaurant donne juste au niveau de chambres. Résultat: forte odeur de cuisine dans le chambre, frites , poisson, steak on peut presque deviner ce qui ce cuisine. :-( Mise à part cela la taille de la chambre est correcte, la salle de douche est par contre très petite et vétuste. Je ne reviendrai pas.

Bon hôtel avec un emplacement idéal et au bon rapport qualité prix. La chambre est très correcte en superficie, confortable. La salle de bain mérite un rafraîchissement mais au vu du tarif c'est plus que correct. L'accueil est sympa, pratique, rien a dire. Nous n'avons pas pris le petit déjeuner. Il mérite bien 4 etoiles

Client du restaurant uniquement deux midis de suite, salade cristal et salade terroir excellentes, mousse au chocolat et crémet d’Anjou une tuerie n’hésitez pas raisonnable en prix et accueil au top , petite couverture prêtée pour dehors si vous avez froid 😉
