This was the most romantic evening I’ve ever experienced. My husband and I are on our honeymoon, we needed our trip with one last dinner at “Old Man and the Sea” everything is natural, romantic, and a gentle evening! Food was amazing but the experience is worth everything!!

On the whole, this venue has an undeniable enchantment. However, I question whether the experience is worth the investment. Our Room: We reserved a room to mark our anniversary and were pleased with the thoughtful display. We selected Joy, which featured a beautiful outdoor bathroom. Regrettably, our enthusiasm was tempered by the presence of rain flies and ants in the room, including our bed. Management failed to apologize, instead expressing puzzlement that this issue was isolated to our room. We were transferred to Elle Marie, an upgrade, but our preference remained with Joy, especially its outdoor shower. Although Elle Marie boasted a more spacious area, a small beach, and a couple's swing, the bathroom lacked the same impact. Service: Staff politeness and accommodation were notable, but forgetfulness led to meal timing issues. Restaurant: Unfortunately, the food was mediocre, inconsistent with the restaurant's visual appeal. Omelets were overcooked, yogurt tasted sour, and desserts seemed pre-prepared. The difference between a cook and a chef is evident, yielding underwhelming, stale, and overpriced food. The Beach: Despite its stunning and comfortable appearance, the beach's water shoreline area is compromised by an overgrowth of algae, making it unpleasant to access, even with water shoes. Activities: Unfortunately, there are none. We attempted to utilize two outdated kayaks, but no snorkeling gear was available, and the front desk was unaware of the sailing tour, which was allegedly offered by a partner, with no effort made to connect us with them. Essentially, what are you paying for? The experience, a peaceful environment and combined beach and jungle views, which is indeed beautiful

We found a paradise! We stayed in Sophia (it got upgraded due to some repair work at Lou Lou), and it was amazing. It was perfect getaway for our anniversary - direct access to water, perfect location for stargazing, snorkelling, reading books with an ocean view and breeze! Highly recommend this place.

Amazing stay! I did my research, read all the reviews and watched YouTube videos before I booked this place so I pretty much knew what to expect. AOV was a great experience! Everyone who works there is so helpful! Front desk is awesome! Melissa was our housekeeper and she was excellent. We stayed in Dushi Sue for 6 days. The villa is very spacious for two people and the outdoor deck area is huge! My husband and I did yoga on the deck every morning and read books out there everyday. It's so relaxing and so quiet. We alternated having our breakfast on the beach and on our deck. Both options are excellent. The breakfast (which is included) was delicious! My two favorite options was the French toast and the Yogurt breakfast. Fresh fruit and juice included with every order. We also ordered lunch once from the restaurant on site and it was also delish. The bed was very comfortable, pillows were soft and aircon over the bed kept the room cold while we slept. They do have wifi, so we were able to watch a movie on our iPad. We were there the week of Christmas, and they were very quick to respond and attentive when we had a request via WhatsApp. There was one hour that the electric went off, but they let us know in advance and it was actually back on before expected. I booked several days of transportation with the front desk and that was also easy peasy. We also had a couple's massage that was excellent. I would definitely recommend and return for a few days. If you're not the outdoorsy type (like me) maybe limit your stay to 2-3 days. We also toured a few of the bigger, newer villas and all I can say is Wow! They are nice! Also, take some bug spray. We both ended up with several bites but I'm not sure if they were from the beds outside on our deck or from the sand. Overall, a great experience.

This place is nothing like what’s shown or described on the website. It’s very misleading and not up to par in any way. Let’s start with its no where near ANYTHING! Every time you leave the resort it’s somehow $42 no matter where on the island you go (SCAM). The front desk staff and manager are all very unhelpful. After misleading us and confirming us for a room unlike the one on the site, they offered to “accommodate” us by Allowing us to pay and ADDITIONAL $3k on top of the thousands already spent (SCAM). We asked to see the room in person that we would be acquiring and it still was NOTHING like the site or the room we actually booked (SCAM). Not to mention the bathroom was OUTSIDE! If you’re looking for a modern, luxury, high end vacation spot This Is Not It! Everything is antique & extremely dated. No refunds or exchanges without them SCAMMING half of the money you already paid at the time of booking, in full. So Beware! Do Not Stay Here! 0/10 I Do Not Recommend!

I stayed 2 nights at the Sophia Villa with my wife. We were on our honeymoon. The Villa is amazing, just like in the videos. No complains there. The problem is that it has no air-conditioning and no black-out curtains. Given it is a hotel that charges you more the USD 2,300 per night, you shouldn't even be worried about the possibility of this happening. Specially since Aruba has year-round temperatures above 30 degrees celsius. I think this sort of thing is just criminal. Felt like a total rip-off, the sort of thing that gets you so mad you just want to leave. And that's what we did. Even though our refund was denied, we just couldn't stay there and so we booked another hotel to spend the night. The situation to sleep was inhuman. Not only to sleep, if you wanted to just lay down a bit to relax, you would need to endure the 35 degrees temperature of Aruba - and with no shades. Once again would like to reinforce the sentiments: UTTERLY DISAPPOINTED, RIPPED OFF, DEVASTATED. The hotel had other issues as well that you wouldn't expect from such a high price: breakfast was limited (1. only one option per person, anything elsewould be charged to the room; 2. no natural juice; 3. no chocolate milk); the pool was not working; we asked for a burger but they didn't have the bun (what the hell?!). Those are all minor issues given the AC and black-out situation. But again, just stuff you don't even think about when you pay such a high price. These are MUST HAVES. The fact we did not have any of these things is revolting. Once again, the Villa was amazing, it is just not worth it. A good night of sleep should be the number one priority of a hotel. You should never have to pay USD 2,300 a night to not sleep, or to be forced to book another hotel. Dishonest, inhuman.

Our experience with Dani Cruz from Aruba Ocean Villas has been nothing short of heartbreaking and utterly disgusting. We trusted him to capture precious memories of my husband and me through drone footage on Monday, with the clear understanding that it would be sent to my email before our return to the United States. As I write this, it's now Friday, and we have received nothing. Every single day, Dani has lied to us, promising that the footage would be sent. But those promises were empty, leaving us frustrated, hurt, and out of $450. We paid him in full, trusting that he would deliver what he promised. What makes this even more devastating is that Didi from Aruba Ocean Villas, who recommended Dani to us, has done absolutely nothing to rectify the situation. We've been scammed, deceived, and left with nothing but bitter disappointment instead of the beautiful memories we were hoping to cherish forever. Avoid Dani Cruz at all costs, and think twice before trusting recommendations from Aruba Ocean Villas. Aruba Ocean Villas has done nothing about it. The emotional and financial toll this has taken on us is beyond words. I have uploaded his information so if he is recommended to you , avoid him at all cost
