Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Savannah Southside

I had to ring the front desk bell four times before someone came. Waited for about eight minutes. This was at about 4pm. The room was clean enough. Unidentified drips and splatters here and there on the walls. Even though we booked for two nights we were given only one set of towels and one roll of toilet paper. I had to ask for more. The lobby bathroom was short on toilet paper, had no paper towels, and full garbage. The next day, the garbage had no been changed. Still no paper towels and now no toilet paper. Had to go to the front desk and ask if I could refill it. They let me. Seemed like only one person was working at any given time and multiple times I went to the front desk and there was a sign up that they were helping someone else. Lots of papers left out at the front desk with hotel booking information with no one around to keep it private. Overall I got a good deal and one person held it down enough to be average. I wouldn’t go back if I had to pay more to stay there.

I was given the room key for an occupied room, the room I received was not cleaned thoroughly . My 4 year old found half full water bottle by the bed, there was no hand soap we made due with the body wash in the shower and the toilet ran all night. The room I originally received a room key for about 2 hours later another person was given the same occupied room. The poor people in room 310, I am sure they were more than annoyed. The breakfast was ok. The front staff were very nice. I have deft had better stays, but it was not a disaster.

The carpet was extremely dirty, the sink was clogged, the shower was dirty, and the ceiling had mold from the humidity. I do not recommend it.

The walls had stains. Carpet smelled and stained. Broken bedside table. After purchasing Lysol and Clorox wipes and cleaning room myself, I felt better staying there. Hallway ac units read 82 degrees. Lobby smelly and hot. Door to room would not lock from the inside so had to use latch to feel comfortable. Noisy neighbors in room next door. Pool was very cloudy and looked like a party was had with no clean up. Pizza boxes and cans and trash all over floor near pool area. Bug with wings flew on bed. The smell of **** was strong even a friend that had a room booked there had to change rooms bc of the ****. Very disappointed.

The front desk staff was rude from the start. No A/C in the room for 2 days. Hall thermostat read 80+ degrees. Room thermostat didn’t work. Walls peeling and dirty, stains on furniture and bedding, soap scum and mold in shower and shower door broken. Beer cans and food all over the pool deck. Stains in hall flooring and floor was sinking. Friends a few doors down woke to bed bugs biting them. My son walked to the car and a woman on the first floor was locked in her room and could not get out of the room. Had to be rescued. This place is a dump and the owners could care less. If you stay here, good luck!

It was such a disappointment to get the feedback from my husband and son’s stay at your hotel. They were supposed to be able to enjoy the pool, but it smelled so bad they didn’t feel it was a safe environment. The air conditioner leaked onto the carpet and they had blow dry it. This was a group trip for a tournament, but the kids didn’t get to enjoy your amenities because they we either nasty or broken. My family at least had air but the room needed to be swapped but they didn’t do so because they were concerned the situation may get worse for them. We are requesting a refund.
