This hotel has a great location and a fantastic lobby. All the staff that we encountered were very friendly and mostly helpful. Unfortunately, our room was not the best. The rooms need updating and do not live up to the descriptions or the fantastic lobby. The bathrooms were very dated and were clean enough but not as clean as I would have expected. I also found it odd that there was not a mini fridge in the room. This hotel has great potential, it just seemed to be lacking in the details that would make it stellar. In addition, we left a day early and the lobby informed us that they could not provide any sort of refund which we thought was very odd.

I paid over 1700 RMB per night to Ctrip, which should be considered a high-end hotel, but I was disappointed with the bathroom facilities after checking in (see picture). Furthermore, the room rate included breakfast, and I specifically confirmed this with the front desk at check-in, but the next morning when I went to the restaurant, I was told that breakfast was à la carte, and I had to go back to the front desk to get a voucher, which was only $15 per person. Adding juice, dessert, coffee, or tea would cost extra...

The air conditioning is not good and quite noisy.

The location is very good. Although it is an old hotel, the service and quality are still good. Recommended, cost-effective in the local high!
