The Earth at Ranthambore is an ideal resort, very near to the premium Safari Zones. The concept of the mud cottages are excellent and really gave a feel of being right in the midst of nature. The rooms were cool inspite of the heat. The package was inclusive of breakfast and one more meal and it was really value for money. Best part is the services provided for Safari, like tea/Coffee and cookies before morning Safari and High tea after evening safari. This is what set is apart from other Safari zone hotels. The staff were the best, attending to each of our requests with a lot of enthusiasm. The food spread was great, and tasty and included continental options also. Requests for separate food for kids was immediately catered to. All the staff were very polite and excellent with their service. Room and bathroom sizes are great. Lots of storage and places to keep suitcases. All Toiletries were available.

This hotel was incredible. We stayed in the Amber Room --really a whole earthen house tastefully decorated --so comfortable we didn't need to use the air conditioning, Huge bathroom--an indoor (and also outdoor) shower surrounded by roses and trees and all kinds of flowers--everything tended to so lovingly. In the evening we saw one of the best magic shows I've ever seen. There were also musicians and a traditional dancer. At night the gardens and trees were lit up with tiny lights--like out of a fairy tale. The food was incredible--buffet-style with fresh baked nan (perfect) and various fresh baked rolls/breads (the names of which I am unfamiliar with) --the staff wanted to be sure we had everything we needed. The ***ager was friendly and quite proud of his establishment, as he should be. This was my favorite place to stay in all of India.

The property per se is exceptional. Beautiful, earthy, cool rooms, amazing food and lots of activities for kids and grown-ups. The service staff was very attentive and took care of all our requests. The Spa services were also very good. We even got a room upgrade which is well appreciated. The only major improvement we would suggest is their communication with the guests once reservation is made. They never briefed us on how the Ranathambore safari works. It is now well established that the property has nothing to do with bookings for safari. However, for some first timers, this needs to be spelt out clearly cause there is a crazy rush during peak season. Despite booking the accommodation three months in advance, and following up with the reservation team, we never got any proper communication on how we need to book the safari. We went assuming (entirely our mistake) that the resort will at least help us book or take care. This ended up being a huge loss for us as we had to pay double the amount to get a tatkal booking and to our utter disappointment we ended in a Zone which probably has least chances of sighting. Again, I agree tiger sighting is purely luck. But still :-( !!! Big lesson learnt - if you are even planning to visit Ranathambore, first book safari on government site or through reliable agents even before you book the accommodation. For The Earth ***agement - please spell this requirement out clearly on your website and wherever you get a booking from. This would save everyone the hassle and disappointment and financial loss (having to pay double for last minute safari booking).

We stayed at the resort for 3 nights from 16th March'24 at Neer Cottage with my family. Location wise it's an amazingly refreshing resort. Whole resort is filled with rose plants, fragrance of rose in always in air. Birds sound brings you closer to the nature. The most important part is delicious food served at the restaurant. The Restaurant staff is extremely caring and attend all your request for specific food. Mainly Mr. Rasbihari , support staff at Restaurant, Gopal ji, Raju , Dilkhush bhai and name i may have missed. All of them make sure the guest are utterly happy and enjoying meals. Special thanks to Ras Bihari ji for arranging surprise candle light dinner for us. This gesture will remain close to our heart forever. Overall fantastic experience and will surely come again.

Stay was comfortable and food was good. Jitendra and his team were very helpful in sorting out Safari bookings. It is a bit far from Railway station so if travelling without your own vehicle, please ensure alternate transportation to and from safari pickup

The location of the The Earth is quite good. It is right off the main road after crossing Sawai MadhoPur. It is 2 kms away from Gate 3 of Tiger reserve. Very quite, no road noise, lovely location. The rooms are very spacious, neat & clean, well ***aged with minimal furniture (as much you require, no complains). The bathrooms are also spacious with ample space. The staff, right from front desk ***ager to gardener, everyone is very courteous, always ready to help and make your stay comfortable. The restaurant is also big with decent food options but again everyone is ready to cater to your needs and taste. The property has hundreds of roses and other plants, hence very green. It looks great in the evenings/night. Awesome place .. I will go back again. Couple of suggestions for improvement - 1) Should have cookies and cakes in addition to pakoras during high tea. 2) The house keeping should replenish water, tea bags etc in room without asking.

My boyfriend and I stayed for 2 nights at The Earth in one of the Neer mud huts. The whole complex is beautiful - all the huts, restaurant, entertainment area and pool & spa are connected by a path with gorgeous foliage either side. We had two tiger safaris booked and this was the perfect place to rest. These were booked through our travel company and our driver organised for the jeeps to pick us up from the reception which was ideal. The Earth also provided water and sandwiches but the cherry on top were the lovely thick blankets given for the morning safari - I didn’t notice anybody else with these from other hotels so we felt quite smug. With our booking, a buffet style breakfast and dinner were provided. I in particular was apprehensive as I can be a bit fussier with food than my boyfriend but I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised - it was delicious. I personally didn’t touch the Western stuff but the Indian food was very tasty and not too spicy. The naans were even cooked on a log fire outside which I thought was a nice touch. Our hut was big and spacious. The shower was great and the bed was comfy. We also had a little outside area with a couple of chairs. Tea and coffee facilities too. Now for the negatives to explain the 4 star review: - Our hut (Neer 2) came with a huge indoor plunge pool, sounds exciting however there wasn’t enough hot (or even warm) water to fill it as we found out on our first night. This didn’t disappoint us really as it was an added bonus so decided not to complain but if it had been a special occasion such as our honeymoon for example, it would have been disappointing. -There is no alcohol in sight so worth mentioning if like us you would have enjoyed an alcoholic beverage with dinner or by the pool. -The pool area looks beautiful but on closer inspection it needs a good clean and definitely a daily clear out of debris (leaves/bugs etc) so we decided against a swim sadly. It’s a shame as there seemed to be multiple staff members available to take bags, clean rooms, serve in the restaurant and tend to the garden but no one instructed to look after the pool. We instead however had a sunbathe on the loungers with our books which was lovely. If you are looking for somewhere quiet to detox with nature, then this is the place for you. With a few developments The Earth really could be 5 star. Sadly no tiger sightings for us but this did not mar our experience of Ranthambore or our stay at The Earth.
