May 13, 2023. In April, Judy and I visited Pompeii with another couple who are good friends and traveling companions, while visiting Italy, Switzerland and Sweden. Our group has considerable international travel experience and each of us really enjoyed Mirosa Bed and Breakfast; the people and accommodations were great. It was an excellent choice. Of note, during our stay issues arose with a booked tour and related timing and transportation issues. Owners Mirosa and husband Pasquale personally took control and, through considerable effort on their part, made it all work out. We arrived at this property and were told our accommodation wasn’t in the main building but instead two minutes away up the street. We were then walked round to accommodation with signage up for “Eco B&B”. When we asked about this were then told this was a “sister hotel”. Feel free to Google this but Eco B&B is a 2-star B&B and Diana is a 3-star hotel. The difference was clear from the rooms and there was also c.40 stairs to climb with your luggage with no elevator. The B&B accommodation is above very busy and noisy late night bars and restaurants on the Main street in Pompeii. We highlighted we were unhappy about this particularly due to noise concerns and had booked Hotel Diana not this one and were moved back, taking luggage again with us. In terms of Hotel Diana, this is a nice enough hotel for the money paid. Air con and tv work well. Breakfast was basic but nice and bathroom was pleasant. Luggage storage was available the next day. If staying at a peak time I’d just beat my comments in mind and try to arrive early. We were taken aback about what happened and didn’t get an apology at any point.

Unless you are driving, DO NOT STAY HERE. Terzigno is an isolated town, an hour on the train from Naples. (And the last train leaves Naples at around 8pm, so don't expect to at least be able to have a nice evening out in Naples and then head back!) The accommodation itself is fine. The rooms are large, clean and the beds very comfortable. There are things that could be improved on; the shower was useless. A working fridge was essential given the poor food offering - but like the wifi, was not working.... The breakfast was very disappointing. The only items provided are a few cakes/'toast' (all in packets). Bottled juice (peach - no other flavours) was nice. There's a coffee maker in the kitchen which was left flooded by a previous user - the hotel owner/manager said the water just needed emptying. But there was no sink! Very helpful... So we went without. There is nothing fresh at all - no pastries, no bread, no fruit, no yoghurt. There are unbelievably NO TAXIS in the entire town. There is no mobile phone signal and the hotel wifi was not working..... so without a car you are really isolated. The guy who is at the other end of the whatsap number given out was a young bloke who spoke absolutely no English whatsoever. It was very difficult to communicate anything at all and pretty stressful. The property said in an email before we arrived that they offered airport transfers - so we said we would like one. They didn't even bother to reply. Overall, a disappointing stay and a stressful experience we wont ever be repeating.

We chose this Inn because of the location and we wanted a relaxing break to start our vacation. The staff at the hotel are wonderful. Raffaello at the front desk makes you feel like family and he takes care of everything you need. We booked the package that included dinner, cooking class and vineyard tour with wine tasting. Dinner was served in our room in takeout containers with a bottle of wine. It was tasty and we were glad to be able to eat in our room after a long day of traveling. We walked to breakfast and were amazed at the views from the vineyard where breakfast is served. Had a great breakfast (we ate too much!) and then took our cooking class with Helena which was fantastic. We made homemade gnocchi which we later got to eat for lunch. The vineyard is beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed our tour. We then had wine tasting with Carmelo which was also very good paired with our lunch. We then spent time at the Inns beautiful pool on the roof. Our stay was amazing and just what we needed! Only con was that we are too much food because it was very good! This is a perfect place to stay if you want to relax and get away from the hustle and bustle!

We had a very good experience with this hotel. Situated across the beach, near to the bus station and close to the railway station, the hotel has big, spacious rooms, with all the ammenities needed. The breakfast was great, with a lot of choices, and mostly, the breakfast room was a rooftop with such an amazing view over the sea and vezuvius. Everything was perfect

A hotel a bit outside. Nevertheless, the view of the sea from Balcori is the best location hotel. Great breakfast and clean rooms. Parking is keyed to the counter and parking is in front of the hotel road. It's okay in the off-season, but I'm not sure if I can't book parking during the peak season. It is a hotel that welcomed a comfortable night and a refreshing morning.

Booked the panoramic studio. The view from the balcony was magnificent! Fully equipped kitchenette allowed me to cook on a rainy day. Sunset and sunrise from the balcony was spectacular.

I stayed in this building with all the family. We have benefited mainly from his position that has allowed us to move quickly and easily to the goals of our interest: Naples center, the beautiful Sorrentin coast and the Vesuvio. The hotel's rooms are large, furnished in a simple way but nothing is missing. The staff is very friendly and available, we also enjoyed breakfast at the bar of the hotel and we had dinner at the restaurant. The hotel is very comfortable and it is very comfortable to park freely.

I stayed at this hotel during a short holiday and we were delighted when we found it online as it was between Naples city and places like Salerno and amalfi. They advertise that they have shuttles going from the hotel to the airport, unfortunately by this they meant they would organise a taxi for you and this is where we experienced problems. We ended up having to get a 15 minute taxi from a nearby train station to the hotel which cost us €60. The taxi driver would not speak directly to us and told us we would have to book through the hotel. Trying to get anywhere was a nightmare as they told us the closest train station was far too long away to walk to and that we would have no choice but to get taxis. We were quoted €130 for a one way taxi to a neighbouring town. We decided to have a look online and found that that there was a train station 30 minutes walk away (s.vitaliano train station) where we could get a train to Nola and from there be able to get a train to almost anywhere. I was disappointed that the hotel had chosen not to mention this and couldn’t help but feel they were taking advantage of the fact we were unfamiliar with our surroundings to allow local taxis to charge us ridiculously high rates. I am not writing this review just to complain about the hotel but to advice any future guests that it is possible to get a train from close by to save them hassle and money. Besides this issue the hotel was nice. It was very clean and the cleaning staff that we ran into on our second day were absolutely lovely. The restaurant staff were also lovely. The staff at front of desk were helpful at times but also came across as cold and uninterested at other times. Overall, if we had been given the correct info in regards to travel I would have given the hotel a 4/5 but unfortunately that was not the case.
