"The hotel does not match the photos. The interior looks quite worn and outdated, and it is unclear when it was last renovated. Overall, the place feels rather old. The only real advantage was the view from the window. However, the balcony is not comfortable for relaxing. The elevators are also old and somewhat strange. It gets very hot inside. The air conditioning only works when you are in the room, so every time you return it is very stuffy and uncomfortable. There is no privacy at all: the toilet and shower are not properly separated and are completely transparent. One small positive point is that it was possible to leave luggage for a few hours after check-out. The location has its drawbacks. The street is very busy, and calling a taxi can take time, plus it is not very convenient for pick-up. The only convenience is that in the evening you can easily walk to the night market, which starts right next to the hotel in the same area. If you came specifically for the market, it may be suitable. Otherwise, most other places are quite far away."

"I came here with my colleagues and their kids, and we stayed at the Sheraton Yunnan Hotel. They offered a complimentary travel photoshoot, and we were quite happy with the results from Anman Photography. The staff were friendly and skilled. The photo session was relaxed with no hard-selling. The photographer was excellent at finding the right angles, and the lighting and expressions in the photos turned out great. The final pictures look natural and appealing. It was good value for money, and I'd definitely consider them again for future photoshoots."

"The hotel's location is great, very convenient for going to the night market. The view is also good, and you can even take a bath. The guy at the front desk was very enthusiastic. Before this, I stayed somewhere else in Gaozhuang on the 2nd floor, and it was noisy at night. Moving to the 22nd floor here is better at night, but it's still a bit noisy. There's nothing to be done, the whole of Gaozhuang is lively at night."

"The hotel staff had an excellent service attitude! They helped me upgrade to a larger room. The guy at the front desk even helped me carry my super heavy luggage up to the second floor when I arrived, and pushed it for me when I left—I'm so grateful! The front desk lady with short hair was also very kind, always smiling gently and speaking softly. Communication was always easy if I had any questions. The hotel's hygiene was great, and the view from the window was quite beautiful. The guesthouse had a cozy and atmospheric vibe. It was completely quiet at night, though there was a little noise during the day. They also gave me a lot of fruit (more than the welcome fruit amenity at five-star hotels!). The location was also very convenient, close to everything. If you're going to the Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden, you can take a bus from the nearby tourist distribution center (25 RMB). There are also many makeup and styling shops around, and the Starlight Night Market is very close. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I will definitely come back!"

"The hotel environment is fantastic, with many hot spring pools and lots of trees, plus a variety of small animals. Our room had floor-to-ceiling windows on three sides, and we could even project movies. There's also a small private courtyard outside for a personal hot spring bath, which was amazing. The front desk staff were very attentive and detailed in their service, which was excellent. However, there was a minor flaw: there was no toilet paper holder in the restroom. The toilet paper was placed next to the sink outside the door, meaning you had to stand up to reach it, which was quite awkward."

"This hotel is simply a holiday ceiling, the public area and the swimming pool are super good, and the film is made as soon as you take a shot. It is also close to the Star Night Market. It is not good to sleep in Gaozhuang. This hotel is close and convenient and quiet. The pick-up master was very punctual. Because the master's enthusiasm introduced us to the car for two days, thank the pick-up master for letting us avoid a lot of pits in Banna. Serene and solemn by day, it becomes a brilliant spectacle at night, making you feel like you're living inside the most captivating landscape painting of Jinghong. The hotel's design beautifully blends Dai ethnic charm with modern simplicity. You'll find a seamless integration of bamboo weaving, wood carvings, and lush greenery everywhere, offering both a sense of local culture and ultimate comfort. Our room was spacious and bright, with soft, skin-friendly bedding. The bathroom had a thoughtful wet-and-dry separation, showing great attention to detail. What I loved most was that our room window faced the Golden Pagoda directly. At night, pulling back the curtains revealed the pagoda lights illuminating the sky, like a flowing masterpiece. The service also deserves special praise! The front desk staff was incredibly warm and attentive, proactively recommending fun spots and delicious food at the night market, and even thoughtfully advising us on how to avoid peak crowds. Every day, returning to the hotel, we were greeted with refreshing welcome tea, and luggage assistance was always prompt. The hotel also has a rooftop viewing platform, offering panoramic views of Gaozhuang, perfect for a relaxing evening breeze. For tourists, this place is truly a 'hidden gem' as a base. After a tiring day of sightseeing, you can easily stroll through the night market in the evening, enjoy Dai cuisine, and take photos in traditional Dai attire, then walk back to your room to rest. In the morning, you can visit the Golden Pagoda when it's less crowded to experience its tranquility. Transportation is also very convenient; getting a taxi to Manting Park or the Tropical Botanical Garden was hassle-free. If I had to offer one small suggestion, I'd hope for a swimming pool in the future. But even without it, Naga S Hotel is already wonderful enough that I want to recommend it to all my friends visiting Xishuangbanna! Here, you not only enjoy excellent accommodation but also an immersive experience of Gaozhuang's poetic charm, where 'stars fall to earth every night.' I will definitely choose this place again on my next trip to Banna!"
