"This hotel is located in the Gaozhuang scenic area, just a few minutes from the night market! Downstairs, there are all sorts of great food options, leisure activities, and massage services. Being right on the Lancang River, you get amazing, wide-open river views with plenty of natural light. The facilities are complete, the bedding is comfortable, and everything is clean! The hotel's breakfast restaurant also offers river views, and the breakfast spread is rich and varied. The front desk service is warm and attentive; they even gave us a welcome gift, which was a lovely touch! I sincerely recommend this place."

"Push open the French windows, and the Lancang River rushes into the distance, with a warm breeze carrying Xishuangbanna's 25-degree enthusiasm to greet you. The hotel room is spacious and bright, with a fresh and elegant blue and white color scheme. Breakfast offers a rich variety, and it's just a four or five-minute walk to the Starlight Night Market. At night, with the doors and windows closed, it's very quiet, and dining and getting around are very convenient. I originally booked a garden view room, but on the second day, I was upgraded to a river view room, and the scenery was truly breathtaking!"

"Coming to Xishuangbanna in December was perfect weather-wise. On the last day of my trip, before flying back north, I decided to spend a day at the hot springs. I chose the Ganlu room, which has pure hydrogen sulfide hot springs – definitely a sulfuric smell, but after soaking, my skin felt incredibly smooth, and I slept like a baby. Besides the private bath, there are also three small public hot spring pools and one large one. The butler mentioned that this area was originally a hot spring site. In the Peacock Valley courtyard, there are about 5-6 peacocks and a little calico cat. Breakfast is complimentary, and the environment is very comfortable. The only downside is that the road to the village is quite remote; I thought I had taken a wrong turn at one point."

"Loved this hotel. The location is perfect as it’s right next to the famous night market and in the centre of town. The hotel is so elegantly decorated. It feels more like a beautiful villa in Bali than a hotel in a city centre. The breakfast is good and copious and the afternoon snack consisting of fruit and coffee/tea/juice was a nice treat. The room was very comfortable as was the bed. The decorations were tasteful and the amenities modern including the Japanese style toilet. We had a slight problem of the drain in the shower not draining properly, but as soon as I mentioned it to the front desk staff, they offered to move us to an even better room so they could fix the problem. So, the best thing about this hotel is the staff. They are friendly, caring, and motivated to make your stay a positive one enjoyable one."

"The hotel staff had an excellent service attitude! They helped me upgrade to a larger room. The guy at the front desk even helped me carry my super heavy luggage up to the second floor when I arrived, and pushed it for me when I left—I'm so grateful! The front desk lady with short hair was also very kind, always smiling gently and speaking softly. Communication was always easy if I had any questions. The hotel's hygiene was great, and the view from the window was quite beautiful. The guesthouse had a cozy and atmospheric vibe. It was completely quiet at night, though there was a little noise during the day. They also gave me a lot of fruit (more than the welcome fruit amenity at five-star hotels!). The location was also very convenient, close to everything. If you're going to the Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden, you can take a bus from the nearby tourist distribution center (25 RMB). There are also many makeup and styling shops around, and the Starlight Night Market is very close. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I will definitely come back!"

"Our stay at Jixianggu Hotel was definitely the luckiest choice of our Xishuangbanna trip! Stepping into the lobby, we were immediately charmed by the rich yet elegant Dai-style ambiance, which instantly melted away our travel fatigue. The room was spacious and spotless, with soft and comfortable bedding. Waking up to the sound of birds chirping in the morning was pure bliss. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive, providing detailed and thoughtful assistance from check-in guidance to local travel tips – their 'can-do' attitude made us feel truly valued. The hotel's convenient location made getting around and finding food very easy, and the facilities were excellent. It was a truly comfortable and relaxing stay, whether we were unwinding or planning our itinerary.
