"The host greeted us with peeled apples, which was very refreshing after a long journey and we arrived late at niaht so it was verv helpful to calm our stomachs. They also helped us bring the luggages (we brought a lot and was very heavy ). The location is very steategic, super close to Lijiang Old Town and the environment is very quiet so it's super comfortable. Even though the accessibility is quite difficult especially for families with elders, but the hosts were super helpful and always available and ready to help 😊 Thank vou so much, host. The room was super warm too despite the cold weather outside. And the view from my room was really beautiful too"

"Really enjoyed our stay we ended up extending our stay by one day and decide to return to it after our 3 day shangrila trip. It’s become our home away from home. The concierge is so sweet and helpful. I added them on WeChat before my trip to do my Taobao haul and they picked up and stored all my packages and then took them to our room. They helped us take our luggage up and downstairs, answer all of our questions. Amazing friendly staff. The room is super clean, and the view of the mountain is half the reason we booked and didn’t disappoint. Floor to ceiling window on 4th floor was so nice. Shower pressure is amazing, hot water comes quickly. Bath products smell awesome, and Dyson hairdryer and the towel is so nice and absorbent! The beds are very comfy that my friend can’t stop commenting on it! And for me everything felt just right that I got to comfortably fall asleep. Beddings were very comfortable, soft to the skin, blankets are warm with nice weight. There were also two different pillows to pick from and the gel feeling one was so easy to sleep on. And all the buttons near the nightstand to open the curtains both blackout and privacy, different lights and heater/ac was very convenient! I get to turn off everything with a touch of a button. There was a giant humidifier in the room that can last all night and more, small fridge with different drinks for free including my fav Perrier sparkling water. First night there we joined for the yak butter tea ceremony and met the owner and some of the other guests around the table. They had a lot of snacks out and also hand churned the butter tea and showed us how to do it as well. The owner also brought out ice wine from shangrila to share and was delicious as well. Awesome time. For breakfast, there are two aunties who made our breakfast fresh with delicious chicken bone soup that I slurped up right away, the local specialty noodle which was surprisingly delicious that I also slurped up even though I was trying to do lower carbs. My friend loved their porridge and their pickled veggies with it. The dining room is on the top floor with a balcony on the outside and floor to ceiling windows looking out. And we got to see the golden sunrise mountain while we enjoyed our delicious breakfast. The afternoon tea platter is lovely too! I’m also really excited to try the different teas when we get back. Location is close to old town but not inside of it so cars can drive underneath. Was easy for pickup for our different tours. Also easy to walk to old town as well."

"The owner was incredibly welcoming and even helped us with our luggage, brought us fresh flower cakes and fruit, and gave us great recommendations for local attractions and food. The B&B also offers free breakfast, a coffee shop, and afternoon tea. The environment is really lovely. Overall, I highly recommend it!"

"I just want to show my appreciation to the staff at the motel!  First of all, the staff was super nice and attentive! She spoke softly and gently.  And most importantly, we booked for the most expensive type of room, and it’s definitely worth it! The view was amazing!!!  The room was also spotlessly clean, with heater and humidifier (which are crucial in winter)  Honestly, there is not much in the neighbourhood, but I did enjoy the quietness and peaceful moments there! We took a free taxi (offered by the staff) and visited lijiang old town (around 20 mins away)  The breakfast was good enough (given it’s a small motel) My kids got their portion of breakfast for free too. And the staff kept asking if we needed more!  I wish I had stayed for 1-2 days so I could have more time to enjoy the peaceful time!  Will surely recommend this place!"

"This is the first hotel I've ever felt compelled to write a compliment for. The service attitude was exceptionally good, and the environment was also great. Our air conditioner broke down, and they promptly moved us to a much better room. I especially want to commend Liang Jingru; although I initially remembered her because of a celebrity namesake, I later became deeply impressed by her service, her smile, and her professionalism. I will definitely rebook this hotel next time I'm in the area. The hotel's breakfast was also incredibly delicious, and you can even see the snowy mountains from the seventh floor. Right in front of the hotel is Heilongtan Park, which is perfect for those who didn't manage to get cable car tickets to see the 'Golden Mountain at Sunrise.' Plus, there's a really tasty fried potato stand right outside the entrance that seems to be a popular spot online – basically, the location is fantastic. I'm really falling for Liang Jingru!"

The location is truly special – nestled inside the Old City, it’s about a 10-15 minute walk from the main meetup point. While this might seem inconvenient at first, it’s actually a lovely stroll through the charming streets of the ancient town, and we came to enjoy this peaceful walk immensely. The authentic atmosphere more than makes up for the short distance. A special thank you to the team and BaoGe for the unexpected room upgrade! This thoughtful gesture made our stay even more memorable. We highly recommend Meiluolanting Hotel to anyone looking for a genuine Old Town experience with wonderful hospitality. "We had an incredibly happy and comfortable 3-day stay at Lijiang Fog Gallery Mountain Riverside. If you are looking for a place that captures the soul of Lijiang while providing modern convenience, this is it. 🏨 The Property & Rooms The hotel itself is stunning—housed in beautiful ancient buildings that maintain their historical character. I loved the interior design of the rooms; they have a tasteful ”modern touch” that makes the stay feel fresh and luxurious. The scenery surrounding the hotel is like a painting, featuring traditional architecture and a peaceful small stream right nearby. 📍 Location & Convenience The location is ideal. It is situated about 500 meters into the Lijiang Ancient Old Street, making it: • Quiet yet accessible: Tucked away enough to be peaceful, but within easy walking distance to convenience stores, local food stalls, and restaurants. • The Full Experience: It is perfectly positioned to experience both the peaceful mornings and the vibrant nightlife of the Old Town. 🛎️ Service & Amenities The staff were exceptionally friendly and made us feel welcome from the start. "Facilities: The hotel facilities are quite new. Most importantly, it has its own dedicated parking lot, and even in the off-season of January, there was always a parking space available. Because it was so easy to park, we extended our stay for another night. Cleanliness: The hygiene was also good; it looked very clean. Especially the windows for viewing, they were quite clear and bright. Environment: It's right by the ancient city, in Dayan Huaxiang. Next to it is the Lijiang Eye observation deck, but the hotel's view is even broader than the observation deck's. The hotel's restaurant, in particular, has an excellent location overlooking the ancient city. Service: Warm and attentive."

"Hyatt Centric Lijiang Jinmao is truly a hidden gem beneath the snow-capped mountains! The front desk service was incredibly attentive; they patiently answered all my questions during check-in, showcasing the typical Hyatt standard of excellence in every detail. The room was adorned with Naxi wood carvings and Dongba elements, and the Chinese-style courtyard with its flowing stream was delightful. It's just a 15-minute walk to Shuhe Ancient Town. Waking up to the golden glow on the snow mountains and falling asleep under a sky full of stars was magical. Plus, you can enjoy your meals with a view of the snow mountains. The entire experience was fantastic! A special shout-out to Louise at the front desk for making our check-out so swift!"
