"There is a good selection of food at breakfast and there was sufficient seating. We also use the executive club on the 22nd floor. It was quite busy in the evenings during the happy hour as many are treating it as a dinner time. However, the ambience is good and good selection of beverages. The check in and check out process was smooth and easy. We were well served by May in the executive club and for our checkout. The hotel is walking distance to the subway station, convention exhibition centre, and the shopping mall."

Several issues that affected my comfort: Cleanliness: The cleanliness of my room and certain common areas was below acceptable standards. The room appeared unclean and the bathroom facilities were not thoroughly cleaned. Breakfast are lesser comparing to my stay last year I believe the room would need some renovation and touchup work. "The service of the hotel was excellent and friendly. The cleaning servicer Chunying Li is friendly and professional for cleaning the room and change the room supplies. Besides, the servicer in the breakfast hall (employee number: 058) is friendly and helpful, who is proactive to serve the customers and said ” Good morning” to them every time. The facilities of the hotel is essential. I pretty enjoy the food in the hotel that is delicious."

"This is obviously a very nice hotel and I would recommend and would stay here again. Luxury is very obvious all over this hotel, and it is frankly very cheap for what it is. The moment we came in, bellhops insisted to carry our bags up to the 80th floor lobby. They were always opening doors for us and very helpful with our bags, 24/7. Once we arrived, we were welcomed in and sat down at an individual desk for check in. There, we were served some excellent tea. The hotel purser came over and welcomed us in. My girlfriend is Chinese and spoke to the staff in Chinese, but the purser switched up to English to welcome me to the hotel, which is a nice detail. Most Chinese hotel staff consistently avoid putting in the effort to speak English to me. The hard product is amazing and is matched well with great service. Staff were always attentive and welcoming in both Chinese and English, always saying hello and checking in. The cons: This hotel, just like most Marriott hotels, is trying to nickel and dime you, which doesn’t make a lot of sense at this price point. In some ways it isn’t, such as an included mini-bar (all non-alcoholic), but for example it doesn’t have a laundry service, while basically any 3-5 star hotel in China would have included laundry. Also, there is a car transfer service, but it’s so absurdly priced for no particular reason. 400 rmb+ for basic transfers where as a Didi would be 10 rmb. Similar luxury properties such as the Ritz-Carlton has these amenities included. The restaurants were nice. We only tried Na Lian, which despite being an in-house guest and being told that they could get reservations for us, we basically were treated like walk-in’s despite being told we had reservations (and we were unable to get a window seat). The bar was also nice and we enjoyed it, the staff were very attentive and helpful. The bar manager waited for us to arrive, but the bar consistently had spend limits for any table or reservation, which additionally just seemed silly, considering we were already staying in a booked deluxe room. The drinks and lamb were very good. The menu was a little outdated, and illustrated wine by the glass, but we were then told that the menu is wrong and they don’t do that. Also, there was strangely a lack of extra towels and bins in the room. I found myself walking into the bathroom many times to throw away trash. This is a good hotel and I plan to be back again, but it can definitely improve. Too much nickel and diming. Good service and good products inspire people to come back, which is worth much more than selling one bottle of shampoo and pushing a customer to never return again. Comfy robes and slippers. 9.5/10"
