"I highly recommend this property. It’s a serviced apartment rather than a traditional hotel, so I had a few concerns at first, but the staff were as friendly and helpful as any 5-star hotel. At check-in, they helped me add the property on WeChat, which was a huge help—calling can be tricky for a foreigner, but with WeChat I could message anytime and get quick support. The view was fantastic. From my room, I could look out over May Fourth Square and relax at night while watching the building lights until 10 p.m. The living room table is large, so it was convenient to bring back takeout and enjoy different foods comfortably. Having two bathrooms was also incredibly convenient. Honestly, if you bring enough clothes, it feels like a place you could stay for a month with no problem. I paid more than usual because it was a holiday period, but I was very satisfied overall."

"Highly recommend for a group of four! On this trip with three friends, we stayed at this hidden gem of a hotel right above The MixC shopping mall! We booked the two-bedroom, one-living room apartment, which felt perfectly tailor-made for group travel. The rooms were spacious and bright, and the two bedrooms offered complete privacy. The common living room area allowed us to chat and hang out with friends without ever feeling crowded. But the biggest surprise was its unbeatable location! It's directly connected to The MixC downstairs, offering a one-stop shop for shopping, dining, and entertainment! If you get tired from exploring, you can pop upstairs to rest anytime, and once you've recharged, just head back down to continue the fun – it couldn't be more convenient! Whether you're looking for trendy foodie spots or need to grab daily essentials last minute, everything is easily within reach."

"🏠 Room Amenities: The St. Regis is really going downhill; it's becoming more like a budget hotel, just with higher floors. There aren't even disposable toiletries anymore. The bathroom only has large, fixed dispensers for shower gel. The Hyatt Regency uses disposable Bulgari toiletries. Big thanks again to Ben at the Hyatt Regency for helping me with the beautiful turn-down service and for the upgrade. 👍 Value for Money: Honestly, the Hyatt Regency offers much better value for money than the St. Regis now. The St. Regis rooms are getting worse and worse! Even St. Regis staff have privately heard many complaints from guests. ⛰️ Room View: This time I stayed on the 27th floor, overlooking the Third Beach, which was very pleasant and relaxing. 🔔 Service: The service was excellent. I had an unexpected situation when I checked in on November 13th, and the staff even provided me with sanitary briefs. A huge thank you to every employee at the Hyatt Regency, and a special shout-out to Ben. I hope Ben is always happy at work! 💕"

"I've stayed at this hotel many times, ever since it was Far Glory. Although your lobby is small, the service is always very warm and attentive. On this business trip, I even recommended your hotel to my client, and they were very satisfied. However, it's a pity that the once pristine rooms are now showing their age. I recall my room number was 3006. The sink in the living area was white, and the brown or black limescale made it look quite unhygienic. Please pay more attention to cleanliness. Also, the hidden, magical door that once concealed the wardrobe and safe used to make the room feel very upscale. Now that the door has been removed, it feels like the room has been significantly downgraded. This isn't to say that the hotel itself has been downgraded, it's just how I feel about it. I hope you don't take offense. It's just because I have so many good memories of your rooms from before. See you next time. Thank you, as always."

"For my trip to Qingdao, I was looking for a hotel with convenient access to transportation, shopping, and dining. After reading numerous traveler reviews, I opted for the newly opened Qingdao Yihai Garden Hotel (May Fourth Square branch). The room was spacious, bright, and comfortable, and the cleanliness was also quite good. The facilities were comprehensive. Although there wasn't a direct sea view, the city lights at night were still dazzling. Breakfast was plentiful, offering local specialty snacks that tasted great. Even with many guests staying, everything remained quite orderly. A notable feature: The laundry room was a very popular spot, often with queues forming. The hotel site originally served as the Qingdao Workers' Sanatorium, which I personally believe contributes to its 'quiet oasis in a bustling city' feel. Downside: As some other guests have mentioned, the shower water temperature would occasionally fluctuate between hot and cold, and the water spray was too dispersed. I hope this can be improved."

"My family and I stayed for four nights during our trip to Qingdao. The room was clean and tidy, just as reviews online mentioned, and the housekeeping was excellent. The toilet was brand new and disposable seat covers were provided daily. We stayed on the 15th floor, which offered city views and a partial sea view from the side. In the evening, we could enjoy the light show from our room. The service was warm and attentive; all our requests were handled promptly, which we greatly appreciated. The breakfast offered a wide variety, including congee, noodles, wontons, pastries, Chinese dim sum, fruit, pickles, stir-fries, coffee, and other beverages. Everything tasted quite good. The restaurant environment was neat and orderly, and the fish tank in the center was very pretty. The hotel's location is excellent, making it easy to catch a taxi, and it's close to attractions like May Fourth Square. There are also many dining options nearby, such as Zan Jia Porridge and Jin Xian Yuan Restaurant, which also serve good food. The hotel has a few minor drawbacks. Although the shower in the bathroom had great water pressure and provided a good shower experience, the handheld showerhead was too low, about 1.5 meters high. It's fine for shorter people, but uncomfortable for taller individuals. I noticed a holder above it, but it couldn't be used to hang the showerhead; I wonder if it was damaged and not replaced? There was also a main showerhead, but I personally don't like using it. Another minor issue is that the room amenities are a bit simple. While there's a fridge for storing food, there's no sofa, and the upholstered bench along the wall isn't very comfortable to sit on – something that could be improved. Despite these minor issues, our overall stay was quite satisfying. We didn't get to redeem the complimentary lobby coffee due to time constraints, which was a small regret. If we choose to stay here again, we'll definitely make sure to try it."

"The service here is superb, and the surroundings are even more stunning! Especially during this sweltering summer, I must commend myself for making such a wise choice – it's truly the most stress-free destination for families with kids, haha! You can happily just 'nest' in the hotel without ever feeling the need to step out. The pool and gym on the basement level (B1) are enough to keep the little ones entertained for half a day. The backyard is even more impressive; grab a bag of pigeon feed and you can enjoy a completely stress-free hour-long stroll after dinner. It perfectly combines escaping the heat with keeping the kids happy! If you're driving, this place is an absolute no-brainer – just book it! And a special mention for the buffet breakfast: the scallion oil noodles are an absolute must-try. The warm and attentive service struck just the right balance, creating a truly comfortable and pressure-free atmosphere. In the evening, a 15-minute drive took us to Binhai Road beach for some beachcombing, where we were lucky enough to spot a full moon. We left feeling utterly content, haha."

"The room was very clean and tidy, and the service was excellent. Especially when checking in, the front desk asked me to add the housekeeper's WeChat. I was a bit hesitant at first, but then I thought I might need some help during my stay, so I added her. It was Tina, and she turned out to be fantastic. She thoughtfully informed me of the service hours for all the restaurants and facilities and even arranged many activities, providing their times. This is far beyond what many five-star hotels offer domestically; many don't have this kind of service. Although I didn't participate in the activities, at least it felt like there was a lot to do, and I wouldn't feel lonely during my stay. The room they assigned me faced the ocean directly. The day I arrived was sunny with excellent visibility, so I couldn't resist taking a commemorative photo. The other photos of the room aren't great, so please bear with them. On the day I left, I also saw a convertible downstairs, which I think was a Beetle, but I was in a hurry and didn't get a good look at the badge. Overall, it was a really good feeling."

"The hotel staff were very proactive and attentive, making for an excellent experience. Veronica, Zhuzhu, and Leona were all incredibly warm and helpful, assisting me with various matters and completely easing my travel worries. Upon checking in at night, the front desk thoughtfully offered some cookies 🍪. The rich chocolate flavor, combined with crunchy nuts, was delicious. A few bites before bed made for a cozy, sleep-inducing treat. The hotel's location is superb, with convenient transportation. It overlooks May Fourth Square and the Olympic Sailing Center, offering an unbeatable ocean view from the window that's charming both day and night. Just a hundred meters downstairs is Grandma Haiyan's Seafood Potstickers, a popular chain restaurant. Several of their signature potstickers (pan-fried dumplings) are well worth trying; they're made fresh to order and are absolutely delicious, so don't miss out. It was a fantastic stay, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Qingdao."

"Facilities: Well-equipped, with a private bathroom including a large bathtub. Cleanliness: Spotless. Environment: Right by the coast, the room overlooks Badaguan and the First Bathing Beach, with distant views of Zhanqiao Pier. The sea view is absolutely stunning. Service: Our butler, Rain, was incredibly nice. The day before check-in, she briefed us on all the hotel facilities, arranged a beautiful birthday cake and red wine, and even provided a complimentary first-day minibar with snacks, drinks, and fruit. During our stay, she was always available to offer drinks and bubble bath services. After checking out, we realized we'd forgotten our headphones, and she helped us find them and mail them back. Superb service! 👍🏻"
