"Overall, I had a really enjoyable stay at this hotel. It’s worth noting that the hotel caters primarily to Russian tourists, so much of the signage, tours and information are aimed at Russian guests. As an English speaker, this sometimes made things a little more difficult, but it didn’t stop me from enjoying my holiday. When I arrived, I had a couple of issues with my room. The hot tub took over an hour to fill, and the water wouldn’t stay warm while it was running, so I wasn’t really able to enjoy it. The charging ports in the room also weren’t working, although the hotel kindly provided me with an adapter, which solved that problem. Unfortunately, the hot tub issue was never resolved. The breakfast was very good, with a nice variety of food each morning. The swimming pool was also lovely—warm, clean and a great place to relax. My biggest concern was the fish spa. I initially thought seeing a dead fish was just a one-off, but I noticed dead fish in the spa every day during my stay. That made me question how well the spa was being maintained, and I hope the hotel looks into this. The staff were always kind, polite and helpful, and despite the few issues, I had a lovely stay overall. With a little more attention to maintenance, particularly in the fish spa and the hot tub, this hotel would be even better."

"My stay here was absolutely impeccable. From the moment I walked in, the lobby's lighting and fragrance immediately put me at ease. The front desk staff were genuinely friendly and checked me in quickly and efficiently, showing great warmth and attentiveness. The room was more spacious than I expected, and the bedding was so soft it felt like sleeping on a cloud. The pillows were just the right height, allowing me to sleep soundly until I woke up naturally. The bathroom had excellent wet and dry separation, the shower water temperature was stable, and all the facilities were well-equipped. The transportation was also very convenient. All in all, this experience far exceeded my expectations, and I will definitely be back."

"The experience at Sanya Yalong Bay Mangrove Tree Resort was fantastic! The room was clean and comfortable, and we even received a delicious mini cake upon check-in. The breakfast offered a wide variety of tasty options. A special thank you to Chenchen, our butler from the Guest Relations department, for her thoughtful and prompt service; she handled all our requests perfectly. The public pool area was beautifully designed, and the garden landscaping was very pleasing to the eye. It had a wonderful holiday atmosphere and an excellent location. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next trip to Sanya. Highly recommended!"

"Hygiene: To be honest, I already knew about the moldy smell in the room from the reviews I read. After checking in, I also found these problems on the pillows, blankets, and mattresses, and the smell was very strong, which was unacceptable. However, I also noticed that the hotel had renovated the room to some extent, such as repainting the walls. Location: Located on Phoenix Island in Sanya, this location is excellent and very convenient to get to and from. There is a 24-hour shuttle bus on the island; no reservation is needed, just wave and tell them your destination on the island, and you'll be there smoothly. In addition, it's very convenient to get to other places from Phoenix Island, such as night markets or beaches. Service: I booked the cheapest room, but the hotel upgraded it for me, which saved me a lot of money and made our trip very enjoyable. The room had a great view of the sea and a large terrace, which we loved. I would like to thank the hotel again for upgrading our room. Facilities: They're pretty much the same as a regular hotel. I'd say it's a 3.5 to 4-star hotel. There aren't any special facilities that are particularly good. I can only say that for this price, it's the best you can get."

This is a godsend for late risers, perfectly avoiding the crowds and allowing for a leisurely “Brunch.” **🍢 All-Day Delight: Rotating Buffet BBQ** If you miss breakfast, from 1:30 PM to 9:30 PM, there’s a rotating self-service BBQ! The selection is incredibly rich, featuring not only various freshly grilled skewers, roast chicken, and sausages, but also hot dishes (meat and vegetarian), fresh fruits, main courses, and beverages. The absolute best part is being able to DIY Hainanese-style Qingbuliang (sweet coconut soup with various ingredients) and unlimited ice cream. After this meal, you'll feel completely satisfied. **🦆 Must-Eat No.1: Authentic Peking Duck** This is the only restaurant in the hotel that requires advance booking, and it’s absolutely worth it! The duck is roasted and carved on the spot, the chef's skills are superb. The skin is crispy, the meat is tender, and the taste is very authentic, with all the accompanying condiments provided. You can enjoy genuine Beijing flavor right here. **🦞 Seafood Extravaganza: Seafood Buffet Dinner** If you're craving a big feast, you must save room for the seafood buffet dinner! This is the restaurant with the most extensive selection of dishes in the entire hotel. It not only offers freshly sliced thick-cut salmon and sweet shrimp sashimi (the chilled section is amazing) but also freshly grilled steaks, lamb chops, and a variety of fresh seafood for hot pot. Oysters, shrimp, crabs, and unlimited Hainan tropical fruits, fresh Hainan coconuts, and pre-cut papayas, watermelons, and oranges – you can eat until your heart's content! **⚠️ Important Tip:** Remember to book the Peking Duck restaurant in advance with the front desk to avoid a wasted trip! I highly recommend this hotel. Whether you’re traveling with kids or on a couples' getaway, you don't have to worry about dining here. It offers great value, excellent food quality, and superb standards! [Strong][Strong]"

"I brought my grandson to Hainan for the holidays. I used to stay at Marriott frequently, so I chose Marriott again this time. However, after reading some negative reviews, I only booked for one night. As soon as we arrived at the hotel lobby, I was absolutely stunned – it truly lives up to its Marriott name, elegant and grand. Vicky, a lovely young lady at the front desk, greeted us with a smile, explained the benefits included with our room, and recommended the concierge manager to us. Manager Jia was truly attentive to guests and well-managed; she prepared children's amenities for us, and hearing that we missed the executive lounge hours, she arranged another day for us (even though we didn't go, we were very grateful). She also sent fruit, cake, and coconut for the little one. What moved us the most was that our flight was at 8 PM, and she extended our checkout until 5 PM – something no other hotel would easily do, especially during a holiday. We were so fortunate to meet Manager Jia this time. Her extremely thoughtful service, professional and skilled business acumen, and dedicated work attitude towards guests fully demonstrated the hotel's high standard of service and excellent brand image. She truly showed us what 'home away from home' means. We will definitely choose Marriott again next time we visit."

"Hotel was located in a convenient area, we could walk to the beach and didi to malls and other places were quite affordable. The hotel is quite old so it’s abit run down. Mattress is very hard. Cleanliness of the room is not very good too, we saw a cockroach in our bathroom on the first day … and there are stains on the tables / bathroom area. The staff were nice and friendly though. Facilities wise we only used the gym which was very small old and equipment was faulty. But the staff did say we can go to the opposite hotel for a better gym. Overall I would say location is the best aspect of this hotel."

"This time in Sanya, I really wanted to see Yalong Bay. I'd been a few times before but never stayed at a hotel with sea views. After checking into the Accor Swiss, it was already getting dark, but I still made my way to the beach, which was only a few hundred meters away. Listening to the sound of the waves and watching the vast white surf on the beach was incredibly beautiful. Unfortunately, it rained heavily the next morning, so I couldn't see the sea in the sunlight again. The hotel itself is lovely, and the room facilities are charming. I enjoyed just sitting in the hotel, looking at the pool, banana trees, and coconut trees. It was quiet and comfortable. I'd definitely come back to this hotel for another vacation if I get the chance!"
