"The hotel is great, very clean, the staff are very nice. I stayed at the suite which was a very big room and had a great view. The lounge was ok but I prefer less unhealthy snacks and more fruits/ healthy stuff in it. The pool was not heated and it was a bit cold. Also the last night my room had noises all night long. Like metal to metal noises which cause me not to sleep all night long. The staff were nice but didn’t really compensate for this horrible night I had no sleep at all besides promising to a late check out or upgrade next time I book. Which is more of a promotion than a real compensation. Too bad that left a bit a bitter taste to a nice stay so far. I’m in Taipei once or twice a year and I wish they were more attentive to my complaint and lack of sleep."

"The hotel room is very comfortable, clean, and spacious, booked at a discounted price from Trip.com. Level one concierge Nico was very friendly and helpful when I went downstairs to collect my midnight supper delivery. Special thanks to housekeeper Ricky. Hotel is in the best location, nice view of Taipei 101 at level 7 swimming pool area. Metro is just across the road past some shops. There are street performers on the walkway behind the hotel in the evening from 6 to 10pm."

"The room was clean and comfortable, but I paid extra for a high-floor room and only got the 19th floor. I wouldn't have spent that money if I'd known. It's not that I'm unwilling to pay, but an extra 100+ yuan for just three floors higher? That's disappointing! The hotel's 3rd-floor restaurant is good though."

"Location of the hotel is great, close proximity with 10-15mins car ride to most major ”must visits”. The cleanliness of the hotel is top notch, sparkling clean everywhere. Gym is a little small though but basic essentials are there. Breakfast buffet spread was amazing wish I had more time and tummy space for all the food!"

"Good business hotel but no amenities is a down side. Laundry service is there but you have to pick up the laundry bag yourself at lobby. Also they dont bring them to you after they’re done, you have to pick them up at lobby."

"The experience was not pleasant. Upon arriving at the hotel late at night, we were informed by the hotel manager that they had oversold our room. Consequently, we were required to change hotels on the first day and return to this hotel the following day. The entire process was extremely lengthy, leaving us all exhausted. The reason I had booked this hotel for two nights was to avoid a tiring schedule of constant packing and unpacking our luggage. The on-duty manager had also promised to upgrade our room and provide us with lounge access after our return. However, these promises were not kept. The room upgrade was not made, and lounge access was also not provided. To add on, there was no waiting area in front of the lobby, so you might want to reconsider choosing this hotel if you’re using Uber or car booking services. Despite the overall quality of the hotel, I will not be booking it again."

"Great location, relatively older building with renovation. For the same room type, some rooms are better than others. Some of the rooms have non working outlet, soundproof not as good, overall acceptable when you can get the room with decent rate. Their daily rate kind of fluctuates based on the booking situation."

"price is good . The average price is around 200-300 hkd per night for my type of room . The room is clean and tidy . The room is large with much walking space . Overall , the experience of living in this hotel is good ! I will book this hotel if I come to travel again ."

"Conclusion: Would definitely stay again! The hotel is super convenient, just a short walk from MRT Jiantan Station Exit 2. Despite its proximity to the station, the soundproofing was excellent; we barely heard any outside noise, and the in-room soundproofing was equally impressive. Pros: The room was beautiful and spacious. The bathroom had a TV, and the shower facilities were very comfortable; bathrobes were also provided. A JBL Bluetooth speaker was conveniently placed next to the bed. The TV's speakers were also of good quality, though it was a slight bummer that it couldn't connect to YouTube. The minibar was well-stocked with complimentary soft drinks (Coke, Sprite, etc.), and there was a capsule coffee machine and even a microwave! Beyond the standard amenities, the room offered numerous thoughtful extras that felt like pleasant surprises, such as small pouches to take home unused soap. Cons: Our first impression was slightly marred when we tried to call the front desk with a query, but the phone rang for a long time without an answer. The room key card was problematic; even after we got a replacement, it was still difficult to get it to register (we didn't bother reporting it again), leading to some frustrating moments trying to open the door."

"I went to Taiwan on May Day and stayed in the newly opened Capella Hotel in Taipei for two nights. I would like to share my experience with you. The hardware environment of the hotel is first-class. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I could feel Capella's consistent high-end aesthetics and quality standards. The reception hall on the 14th floor is grand and stylish. The living room has both check-in and lounge functions. Whether it is checking in, meeting guests or resting, it is very decent. The atmosphere is full and the details are luxurious. The breakfast is great, worthy of the standard of a luxury hotel. Finally, after Tokyo Park Hyatt, I saw a hotel breakfast with blueberry and strawberry, which directly added points. Capella breakfast includes champagne. It was champagne oysters early in the morning. I felt a little dizzy~ Taiwan's local specialty breakfast includes egg pancakes, beef noodles and porridge. The iced latte is unexpectedly delicious. Taiwan's beverages are really amazing! However, this stay experience was not satisfactory in terms of software services. It may be because it was newly opened. The room service response speed was extremely slow. When you need something urgently, you often have to wait for a long time, which affects your mood. Because of government regulations, the room is not equipped with any disposable toiletries. Although it is understandable, it always feels like the policy is used to prevaricate the service. When you actually check in, you need a shower cap and toothpaste, and you have to call again and again... The service response is slow, which is somewhat inconsistent with Capella's high-end positioning. What makes me most dissatisfied and worried is the problem of the swimming pool. The hotel has only one outdoor swimming pool on the 14th floor. My husband went to swim at 8:30 in the morning and returned to the room with severe discomfort. His heart rate soared to 160 and he didn't recover all day. The reason is that the water temperature of the swimming pool is too high, which has exceeded the normal body temperature of 37 degrees. This is not swimming but soaking in a hot spring, but there is no lifeguard in the swimming pool, which poses a great safety hazard. The communication with the foreign manager was fruitless, and he only kept saying: ”Thank you for your advice and provide us with valuable advice~ Our lifeguard only starts work at 8:30.” Shouldn't there be lifeguards when the swimming pool is open? There is no display of key information such as water temperature, water acidity and alkalinity, and water monitoring report of the day next to the swimming pool. Guests cannot understand the water quality and water temperature of the swimming pool and it is difficult to use it with peace of mind. In general, the hardware environment of Capella Taipei is indeed excellent, but many problems with software services affect the overall stay experience."
