"The room is super spacious, looks newly renovated, and has floor heating, which kept it very warm. You can see the snow scenery right from inside the room. There's a big yard out back with lots and lots of snow 🌨️. The toilet in the bathroom is smart, and the large shower head made for a very comfortable shower. The bathroom also has a wet/dry separation. You can even control the room's devices with your voice. The room was very clean, and the front desk staff and cleaning aunties were all very thoughtful and answered all our questions. The owner was always available when we needed him, providing excellent service. They even helped us book tours and activities. The location is also very convenient; the owner helped us book a bus that dropped us off right at the hotel entrance, which was great. In the evening, they even prepared frozen pears and frozen persimmons for us."

"I rarely write such detailed reviews, but this trip to Harbin, especially the arrangements in Xuegu, was truly a highlight. This guesthouse we booked was perfect for enjoying the snow. Just 30 meters from the entrance, there's a huge snowy field, and behind it, a mountain for hiking to see rime ice. The guesthouse is newly renovated but has no unpleasant smell. The room was spacious, very clean, and soundproofing was excellent; even with fireworks going off outside, I couldn't hear a thing, so I slept wonderfully for both nights. For such an affordable price, breakfast was included. The sweet potato porridge was delicious and fragrant, and there were also eggs, steamed buns, pickles, melon seeds, sugar tangerines, and frozen pears – all you can eat. Plus, there were free fireworks displays in the evening! The landlady was incredibly warm and helpful, answering all our questions and even providing us with lots of travel tips. Both the adults and kids had a fantastic time during our two days in Xuegu. I hope to come back again and have already recommended it to my friends!"

"This hotel is great, it feels like staying at a relative's house in the countryside. It's a bit far from the shops as it's at the end of the village (but if you want to buy things or eat at restaurants, it's not a long walk). The location is fantastic because you open the door to beautiful mountain views. Right next door there's an activity area with a slider and ice skiing. It's not crowded, so it feels very private. There's also a waterfall near the hotel. You can spend all day at the hotel without getting bored because there are activities to do and beautiful views for photos. The hotel food is delicious, and breakfast is free. It's mainly rice porridge, eggs, pickled vegetables, and plain steamed buns. If you want other things, you can order à la carte. Hot pot is also available but costs extra. You can buy snacks or drinks at the hotel if you don't want to walk to the village shops. Prices are reasonable, and you can pay by QR code or cash. The rooms are in the same building as the lobby, so if guests in the lobby are loud, you'll hear them. I recommend booking a room further from the lobby if you want peace and quiet. The bed is wide and comfortable, not cramped. It's a heated bed. There's a hanger for clothes. There's no air conditioning in the room, but the weather is cold so it's not really needed. The only issue is when you're fully dressed, you might feel hot and uncomfortable, but it's fine once you step out of the room. The bathroom has a wet/dry separation with a curtain. The bathroom floor is a bit slippery, but the hotel provides slippers which help prevent slipping. There's no bidet spray in the bathroom, but the showerhead has a small sprayer that can be used instead. The bathroom has hot water, a heater, and ventilation. Towels are disposable. There's a toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, and a hairdryer, but no conditioner. If anything runs out, you can ask the hotel. The owner and staff are very attentive. You can book tickets for mountain activities directly with the accommodation. However, there's no signal on the mountain, so you need to bring cash or exchange money at the hotel. When going to the mountain, the hotel provides a pick-up and drop-off service, and a hotel staff member accompanies you to guide you through all the activities, making sure you have fun, haha! It's very worthwhile. Overall, it's excellent. It might not be a luxury hotel, but everything combined – the location and the beautiful views – is well worth the room price. If I come again, I'll book here."

"This is a very new, modern-style hotel. Some rooms are decorated in a Japanese style. The bathrooms are large and clean, with views of either the mountains or the street. The hotel is located in the center of the village, and you can walk to the activity area. If you're hungry, you can order food from the kitchen area. Most importantly, the host is incredibly kind and also seems quite young. They contacted us before our trip to check in and took us to the ski resort in the village because we woke up late, so we didn't have to book other activity areas. They even joined us for activities, took photos and videos, took us sledding, and drove snowmobiles. In the evening, when we didn't go out into the village, they messaged to check on us out of concern. We felt that the host took great care of us without making us feel uncomfortable or intrusive. We were very impressed! Also, the app mentioned a deposit, but it seems the host didn't collect it. P.S. If you haven't chosen an activity area beforehand, the host will likely take you to Xie Yue Lai (Xin Yue Lai). This place is great for sledding, skiing, and snowmobiling, with a high-angle view of the village. If you want beautiful tree views, you'll need to trek through. If you don't enjoy these activities, there might not be much to do, so I recommend finding another activity area as well."

"I highly, highly, highly recommend this guesthouse! We really value cleanliness, and this place absolutely nailed it. There wasn't a single strange smell when we walked in, and the floors were sparkling clean – everything looked super reassuring. The facilities were thoughtfully provided too. I finally got to experience sleeping on a traditional 'kang' (heated bed) from Northeast China, hahaha! I was a bit worried about the cold in the Northeast, but the room temperature was just perfect, very warm. The 24-hour hot water was incredibly convenient; it felt amazing to take a hot shower after being out in the snow. Charging outlets, a hairdryer, all these little essentials were well-stocked and incredibly handy. The service was absolutely outstanding. The owners were genuinely warm and welcoming. They proactively helped us with our luggage when we got out of the car, let us borrow traditional floral cotton coats for free, and even taught us the 'splashing water into ice' trick. When we went to Wusongling (Rime Island), the owner came along, recorded videos for us with their 360 camera, and personally sent them to us. The service was truly superb! Thanks for giving us such a wonderful trip experience in Northeast China. I'll definitely recommend this to all my friends!"

"Highly recommend for anyone planning a trip to Snow Valley! Nan Nan Homestay has an unbeatable location, incredibly close to the ski resort. After a tiring day of skiing, you can just turn around and head back to rest. The owner is a local and an excellent guide, providing professional service. The attraction tickets they helped us book were cheaper than online, and they even arranged free shuttle service within the scenic area, so we didn't have to lug our luggage around. The rooms are well-equipped with private bathrooms and complimentary toiletries. The large kang bed can accommodate 2-4 people, making it perfect for family trips or traveling with friends. The 'tie guo dun' (iron pot stew) and 'guo bao rou' (sweet and sour pork) at the restaurant are super authentic, with fresh and flavorful ingredients – incredible value for money. We loved our stay so much, we didn't want to leave!"

"I highly recommend Xuegu! This trip was absolutely fantastic, especially thanks to the incredibly reliable guesthouse owner! It was my first time there, and I knew nothing about it, so after booking, I talked to the owner about my travel dates and activities. The owner was incredibly thoughtful, creating a super clear itinerary tailored to my needs. They even proactively booked my transportation and all the tickets in advance, saving me a huge amount of trouble. The entire experience was amazing, and I have to give the owner a huge thumbs up! I've already recommended the guesthouse to so many friends who want to go to Xuegu; go for it!"

"The room is clean, the room is not cold with short sleeves, the equipment is complete, and it is equipped with disposable bath towels and slippers. The proprietress of frozen persimmons and frozen pears said to eat casually, and also made sugar gourds with children. The boss will arrange the car throughout the whole process. When we passed, the car was sent to the door of the hotel. I went to Yangcao Mountain and also helped to book a joint ticket. The snow scene on the mountain is really beautiful. It is a worthwhile trip. The children are also very happy to play. I am lucky and it is snowing. I am happy to think about it. I will come next year!"

"The owner pre-booked a bus for us from Harbin to Xuegu, which dropped us off directly at the guesthouse entrance. They also provided shuttle services to and from the ski resort. Frozen pears and frozen persimmons were aplenty, and in the evening, they even taught us how to make candied hawthorn skewers – the emotional value was off the charts! The guesthouse is centrally located in DongSheng Forest Farm in Xuegu, just a short walk from various iron pot stews and small BBQ joints, which was incredibly satisfying! I even got to experience sleeping on a traditional heated brick bed, and I honestly didn't get enough sleep, haha… I hope to have the chance to visit Xuegu again and stay at Jiayi Guesthouse!"

"Good location, near the stage and shops. But if you want to cook, I recommend ordering in advance. The owner's mother needs time to cook. Her son takes good care of all customers. The bedroom is warm from the sleeping mat. The accommodation area is not very wide, but the location is good. In front of the accommodation, there are things for sale. Grilled, Tang Hulu, recommended."
