Dinner was a buffet with a great variety of food, and it all tasted delicious. The hotel also boasts an indoor swimming pool and a gym. Its central location in Nuwara Eliya is a definite plus."

He was very attentive. He told us they offer lawn garden dinners, which we had booked for tonight. 🍃As dusk settled, we sat on the cool lawn, watching birds circle back to their nests, listening to their chirping, and seeing the warm yellow light of the old house spilling through the windows. We enjoyed a four-course dinner, surrendering all our fatigue to the lush greenery. 🍃I loved it here and highly recommend it."

"Lovely stay at Villa Tea Fields in Nuwara Eliya! We really enjoyed our time here. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and well maintained, with a pleasant and cozy interior. The location is fantastic — right in the middle of beautiful tea plantations, very peaceful and scenic. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. We were warmly greeted, treated to a wonderful breakfast, and even received lovely little gifts, which was such a thoughtful and heartwarming touch. A great place to relax, enjoy nature, and experience genuine Sri Lankan hospitality. Highly recommended!"

"My wife and I stayed here during our trip to Sri Lanka, choosing it because of the great ratings on Google. The location is a little outside of town, so you’ll need to take a tuktuk to get there. It costs less than USD3, and honestly, riding through Nuwara Eliya on a tuktuk was part of the fun. The guesthouse itself feels like a large bungalow with several rooms, designed with a classic British-style interior. Our room was one floor up, not very big but cozy and just right for our stay. The highlight was the balcony that faced the lake, where we could watch the sunrise in the morning. At night, the temperature dropped to around 13°C, so we didn’t even need air conditioning. The water heater worked well, and the bathroom was spacious and comfortable. One thing I wished for was indoor slippers. The floor got very cold at night, so I had to wear socks, which was manageable but slippers would have been nicer. The caretaker was warm and welcoming. He greeted us with hot tea on arrival, which felt amazing in the chilly weather. Breakfast was simple but good. Since we checked out early, he prepared an American-style breakfast for us. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with beautiful views, kind hospitality, and a peaceful atmosphere."

"We didn't actually get to stay here because we couldn't drive the road to Nuwara Eliya after the flooding. Unfortunately, we couldn't cancel either because of the hotels cancellation policy but they were nice in communication. Based on other reviews, the room description is a bit incorrect - rather than not having a view it faces a wall but, of course, I cant confirm this. I'd suggest confirming with the hotel about this if you want natural light."

"We stayed at this hotel for one night and were thoroughly impressed by the excellent level of service. All members of the staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. As we were the only guests during our stay, we received highly personalized attention. In addition, the hotel generously provided a complimentary room for our driver, which was a thoughtful and greatly appreciated gesture. The room was spacious and extremely comfortable for three guests, featuring one king-size bed and twin beds in the attic area. The hotel itself is approximately 150 years old and beautifully preserved, offering a charming vintage atmosphere in the best sense. Breakfast was of very high quality and served as a set course, which added to the overall refined experience. We highly recommend this hotel for guests seeking comfort, character, and outstanding hospitality."
