"Right on Cenang Beach and only a ten-minute drive from the airport, this hotel is surrounded by plenty of tourists and small shops. You can enjoy breakfast right by the sea, which is a nice touch. The rooms have a mini-fridge and a hot water kettle, which is decent for the area compared to other local hotels. However, the front desk service was quite cold, and the room itself felt more like a dorm room – very basic and a bit shabby. Good thing we only booked for one night. It was clean, though. The swimming pool is actually quite small. As for the price, it's hard to say whether it's good or bad – it's somewhere in the middle. This place is probably best suited for those on a budget who want to be close to the lively beach and just need a place to sleep after being out all day. If you're looking for more comfort, you might want to find a hotel with better room decor. Cenang Beach has a whole row of hotels and bars, with options for all price ranges."

"For a three-night stay that cost 8,000, I didn't feel it exceeded my expectations. The front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming. However, during breakfast, the staff were mostly expressionless, and the variety of food wasn't great. The resort is quite large, so it takes some time to walk to your room, which can be challenging, especially when it's hot. It's supposed to be a family-friendly hotel, but they didn't provide children's toothbrushes, toothpaste, shower gel, shampoo, or bathrobes. It really pales in comparison to hotels back home. There are two pool areas, one of which has a simple slide. The hotel has direct access to Cenang Beach, perfect for watching the sunset and playing in the sand. When we returned to our room on the second day, we found the cleaning was subpar; there were two stains inside the duvet, and hair wasn't cleaned off the sheets when the duvet was pulled back. The duvet cover and sheets looked quite old and somewhat yellowish. The towels and bath towels in the bathroom also looked dingy, suggesting they'd been reused many times. There are USB charging ports, two on one bedside table, but other devices require an adapter. Mosquito repellent mats were not replenished after the initial two upon arrival. Tissues were not provided initially; I had to call the front desk to get them. Our room's balcony opened directly to a pool in one of the two areas, which was convenient. However, it was quite a distance from the breakfast area, unfortunately. The air conditioning in the room was also a bit loud."

"I booked a 2-night stay with my Mrs in one of the villas connected to the shared pool, and our experience started off on a great note. We were picked up from the airport in a very comfortable Toyota Alphard arranged by the resort. Our driver and resort staff, Khai, was incredibly friendly—he patiently answered all my questions and gave us fantastic food recommendations since it was my first time in LGK. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by Daniel at the lobby. He served us beautifully presented lemon peach teas as a welcome drink and brought us through the entire check-in process. While waiting for our villa to be ready, we had lunch at the resort’s only restaurant. Unfortunately, this was the only part of the stay that fell short—the pizza crust was undercooked, a bit greasy, and tasted store-bought, which was quite disappointing. Thankfully, things picked up again after that. Khai later escorted us to our villa, and we were relieved that our balcony didn’t directly face the restaurant. However, I do feel the pool and villa balconies could be designed to offer more privacy so diners aren’t looking out over the area. Overall, the stay was truly pleasant. I loved that the resort is away from the busy beach, giving us a peaceful and quiet environment. All the staff were warm and friendly. A few standout perks include: 1. Complimentary rides to and from the property (subject to booking and availability) 2. Free minibar, replenished daily—including coffee capsules 3. Complimentary Netflix and YouTube accounts on the TV (which both my wife and I really love) 4. A pretty decent in-room breakfast experience. (they definitely do breakfast better than lunch, in my opinion) I also indulged in a 90-minute massage, which started with herbal tea, grapes, and a carrot stick during a herbal foot bath, followed by a foot massage and a one-hour full-body aromatherapy massage. My masseuse, Yaya, was incredibly patient and attentive, constantly checking on the pressure and even gifting me a small goodie bag at the end. All in all, I wouldn’t mind returning—and I’m even considering trying one of their larger 3-room villas next time. I highly recommend this resort for big families, couples, or anyone looking for a relaxing getaway."

"Resort World may be old but it offers scenic water front that most hotels can't offer. Though there is no sandy beach for strolling or swimming, it offers a very nice water front facing infinity pool that gives you a great swimming experience. Loved the reclining beach chairs in the infinity pool! Those sea facing rooms get to open their balcony doors or sit by the balcony to enjoy the strong sea breeze! There's fish feeding every evening which is a highlight of my stay. The fishes seem to know their dinner time! There's another swimming pool for kids and adults which offers warm water if the weather is sunny....love it like soaking in a warm tub. The reception service was really excellent! Was attended by Miss Ting who personally went to great lengths to ensure my room requirements are met as we have senior citizens with us. The breakfast spread was yummylicious! Unfortunately a few of my guests had diarrhoea after the final day breakfast...still clueless to the cause. This resort also has a Northern Indian cuisine restaurant, a bar, game room that offers darts, snooker, ping pong, and foosball/table football, small playground slides for children, bicycles for rent (RM10 per hour),various boat tour packages and it is the place where cruise ships dock for passengers to do land tours. We managed to see one on our last morning, there! Oh, we also get to watch the tour boats depart and return as the hotel is facing the jetty hub that runs this activity. Collectively, we all agree we will come back to this hotel in the future even if there are other new or beach front hotels there. The room price is reasonable especially if one book early, online. Highly recommended resort if you prefer a quiet, peaceful yet pleasant stay. It's very near (a few kilometres away) to Tengah Beach and the loud, noisy, crowded, happening Cenang Beach. Rent a car so that you can move around easily especially if the group is big or has young children or senior citizens. Very happy with our stay there. Highly recommend! Nevermind the old facade, the environment and experience beats it all!"

"CONS: (1) ants in and around the room - likes to linger around the table bench and toilet sink (2) our room 310, air con fan is hitting something making a loud and repetitive noise when air con was turned on. (3) room 310 also happens to be the room directly facing the cenang mall entrance whereby a busker performs every night. its till 11pm when they stop so you'll be faced with loud music till then if you're a light sleeper (4) lifts have restricted access during night time but staircase is opened 24 hrs. (5) walls are quite thin, most guests behaved apart from a russian group whom had decided at 2:30am to drink, sing in the foyer and play their loud music with their doors opened. called staff to settle this noise complaint and staff called back to our room (waking us up) shortly after to confirm whether the noise was present. (6) clogging shower + mouldy ceilings. no shower door and exhaust fan does not work inside the toilet. PROS: (1) good location, infront of beach/ infront of cenang mall (2) complimentary 4 x soft drinks in the fridge (3) has a balcony, go city views and a good place to hang laundry if you have any."

"Location, convenience, beach, ambiance, rooms, entertainment, dining – there's hardly anything to complain about. If I had to nitpick, first, there are too few designated smoking areas! Second, the rooftop infinity pool is strictly for guests aged 18 and above, which feels quite unreasonable. Many guests come with their families, and it's not like you can just ditch your kids to go for a swim. This policy excludes many from enjoying the experience. For breakfast, try to go early and grab a seat near the water for a great experience. The hotel is situated on Cenang Beach, which has very fine sand. The water isn't crystal clear, but it's acceptable. The room's minibar offers a good variety of drinks, plus two small snack bags that are refilled daily by the staff. You absolutely MUST choose a sea-view room. We opted for the Premium Sea View, which had an L-shaped sofa on the balcony. I actually slept there one night, facing the ocean, under the moonlight, and falling asleep to the sound of the waves – it was absolutely wonderful. The room was also spacious enough, nearly 70 square meters, making it very comfortable for a family of three. The gym doesn't have a huge variety of equipment, but it's sufficient and open 24 hours. There are two pools: one for adults and one for all ages. Regarding food, the hotel has several restaurants, and there's also a beach BBQ with a fire dance show for 198 per person, which isn't expensive. It's also not far from Zhong Hua Seafood Restaurant and Hidden Bar, making dining very convenient. Overall, it was a great experience, and I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Langkawi."

"Really nice place: good facilities including 2 pools, a bar, direct beach access, amazing staff, and a restaurant serving a decent buffet breakfast. But slightly let down by poor WiFi connection in our room, a broken safe that wasn’t replaced during our stay, and be aware that even though they mention local and satellite television services in their facilities on their listing & website, these aren’t supplied (there is however a TV you can access your own streaming services via). But overall we enjoyed this place."

"This is an amazing hotel for its price range! We had a 2-bedroom bungalow with a private pool, though we ended up using the main pool instead. The beds were comfortable, and the pillows were good. It's a quiet place; you can't hear any road noise. The beach is a 5-7 minute walk away. There are many cafes nearby; we really liked Pirate Cafe and went there several times. There are also shops. However, we couldn't find a currency exchange and had to go to Cenang for that. Breakfast was a bit sparse (though typical for a 3-star), but you won't leave hungry. The staff were friendly and tried their best to help with everything. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone who enjoys boutique hotels or guesthouses."

"We take room number 612. Their plug not working at 2 points. 1 is near dressing table and another 1 is real room phone table. Their washing face side light not working. Their toilet water wash hose leaking. Firstly we notice didn't provide toiletries like toothbrush and toothpaste. After we call up to reception then provided. For room issue we reported ask them to settle by giving when we go out. But didn't settle. Saying maintenance team were checked. But didn't do anything. After we report 2nd time saying want to check in midnight 12.35am. That's was our rest and sleeping time. Next day we waited to repair but no changes. They provide another room to change at 2nd day around 10.50am. But we have settle our stuff all at that room. We decide just leave it another 1 day to stay. So we don't want to change the room."

"We stayed at this property for two nights with my friend's families and four children. Because we had to book separate rooms in a hurry, we didn’t have high expectations and thought the kids might get tired going back and forth between rooms during the trip. However, thanks to the hotel’s thoughtful suggestion, we were upgraded to a suite. We were truly impressed by how attentive the staff were in recognizing that we were traveling together as one group! We would like to express our sincere thanks to Manager Asim for creating such an unforgettable memory for our children ☺️ Although the hotel is about a 20-minute drive from the main tourist attractions, we really enjoyed the many wonderful restaurants within walking distance. Next time, we would love to visit Langkawi again with our parents and enjoy another family trip here ❣️"
