"Everything about this place was great! The courtyard was clean and even had little cats. Communication in Chinese was seamless, and the owner was a really nice, young guy from mainland China. There's also a pool in the courtyard, which was lovely for an evening breeze. It's super close to the pier, just a few minutes' walk, so getting around was easy. The owner was incredibly helpful. The room had an electric mosquito repellent, and all the usual disposable toiletries were well-stocked. We even saw a group of people who thought they'd lost their phone, and the owner immediately helped them search for it, only for it to turn out it was in their car – it just goes to show how warm-hearted and positive the owner is, thumbs up! He also gave us tips on seafood prices to help us bargain and recommended some great restaurants for processing seafood. Honestly, it was a fantastic stay, and I'd definitely choose to stay here again if I come back."

After comparing many places, she finally settled on this newly opened hotel, and it turns out her judgment was spot on, haha! Soon after booking, a staff member proactively reached out, added us to a service group, and gave us so many helpful suggestions for airport transfers and itinerary planning. It was incredibly thoughtful. When we arrived, we found that the front desk had thoughtfully prepared various emergency supplies that guests might need, which really showed they put a lot of care into running the place. Overall, our stay was simply: comfortable! We didn't have to worry about a thing the entire time. My girlfriend's choice was definitely a good one, and I absolutely have to give them a great review and show my support."

Taking a bath at night with the night view was incredibly romantic! "This is probably the best hotel in Semporna town. The facilities and hardware are quite good, and the service is excellent. They even offer complimentary juice in the lobby. Just a heads-up when paying the deposit: make sure to have some cash on hand, as two of our cards didn't work. We stayed in a Sunrise Balcony King Room, and the view was absolutely stunning, directly overlooking the Semporna sea, with a glimpse of the infinity pool. Sitting on the balcony was incredibly relaxing. It's also very close to the town center and the pier. There's a small mall downstairs, along with KFC, Pizza Hut, and Haijing Seafood Restaurant, making dining and getting around super convenient. This hotel should definitely be your top choice for accommodation when visiting Semporna."

"I stayed here on my last day in Semporna. The boss took me to buy seafood in the evening and helped me bargain. You must take the boss with you to the seafood market to help you bargain so you won't be cheated. You really can't bargain by yourself and you will be asked to change the price. The food here is not bad and the price is very cheap. It is charged per person regardless of the number of dishes (RM25) (other places charge RM25 per dish within one kilogram). The ingredients are all from China and the chef is also from China. The accommodation environment is not bad and the price is reasonable. I was afraid of too many mosquitoes at the time, but when I arrived, I found that there were not too many mosquitoes, less than in China. You can smoke at the door of the room. There are tables and chairs, which is very convenient. Several people speak Mandarin and try their best to meet any needs. I regret not staying here a few days ago. There are also a few dogs and two cats. They are very well behaved and have a sense of propriety. In short, I am very satisfied with the price. There is no deposit. I will stay here next time."

"We spent one night on the island after returning. The nice environment was a plus; we even saw squirrels. Breakfast was so-so, the facilities were okay, and the room was quite large, but the soundproofing was poor. Next door was a mother with two or three children, and they were very noisy. We could hear the children's alarm clock and the lights switching on and off before bedtime. The cleaning seemed neglected; the trash can in the bathroom hadn't been emptied when we entered the room. The location is rather remote, and it's difficult to hail a Grab taxi. We tried to hail one for 15 minutes around 10 AM to go to the airport, but couldn't get one, and finally had to pay extra for a six-seater."

"This resort was exactly as I imagined. Each room is a standalone cabin with papaya trees planted nearby. The view from the room itself was beautiful. They took us snorkeling in the afternoon, and the underwater world was filled with nothing but starfish and scattered corals. During our stay, Semporna was experiencing power and water outages, but the resort seemed to have a generator, so we still had an outlet in the room to turn on the lights and fan. Since we had a flight the next evening, the person in charge was so considerate and allowed us to check out late. At dinner, two children were performing a dance in the dining area, like some kind of Muslim gathering. They didn't interact with us; we just ate nearby and enjoyed the children's adorable dance. We'd love to stay here again if we have the chance. 😊"
