"We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. We chose it based on reviews and photos, specifically looking for a room with a balcony, a good breakfast, and a ground-level pool within the hotel grounds, not on the rooftop. The online photos perfectly matched what we found upon arrival. While the hotel isn't brand new, it felt very cozy and welcoming.
The staff were incredibly friendly and always accommodating, even fulfilling our request to switch from a street-facing room to a quieter one overlooking the inner courtyard. Rooms were cleaned daily, and towels were changed upon request. Although there aren't dedicated beach towels, the reception advised us that we could use the room towels, and they would be replaced with fresh ones.
The hotel features two courtyard pools: a shallow kids' pool and a deeper adult pool (2.2m). Swimming lessons are held there, but only from 6:00 AM to 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. For the rest of the day, the pools were freely available for guests – swim to your heart's content! Since breakfast is served in the covered restaurant right next to the pools, with some shaded outdoor tables by the poolside, we often found ourselves watching the swimming lessons while we ate.
Breakfast had an Asian focus, but there was always plenty to eat, and no one ever left hungry. The spread included coffee, tea, juices, milk, a rotating selection of four types of fresh fruit, bread, toast, butter, jams, sliced vegetables, cheese, cold cuts, French fries, local rolls, and a customizable Pho Bo soup where you could add your own spices and herbs. Hot dishes and made-to-order fried eggs were also available. Kids' favorite cereals were always offered in two varieties: chocolate and plain. In the evenings, the restaurant also offered dinner combo meals, including a hot dish and a drink.
Regarding the construction in the courtyard: it seemed to be either paused or postponed until the off-season, as no work was being done during our stay, and there were no signs of activity. Our room's balcony was small, but the air conditioning unit was ingeniously placed there. Directly opposite it, the hotel had thoughtfully provided a clothesline, so laundry dried incredibly fast – usually within 3-4 hours, or even quicker if the in-room AC was running, causing the outdoor unit to generate heat.
The hotel's location was another highlight, situated at the intersection of the 'second street' and the road leading to 'Lotus' and the beach – everything was very close and easily accessible. The hotel building itself houses various shops on the street level, including a supermarket (convenient for picking up dinner supplies) and coffee shops. Right next to the hotel is a large shopping mall, which also has a big supermarket on its second floor. We'll certainly return to this hotel on our next visit to Nha Trang!"
