"This is not my first time visiting this place but this time I don’t want to lie I was very disappointed. I got charged 200 rand cause my pillow had oil(hair oil) I have braids on and additional to that they said there was blood on the sheets which was so weird cause I did not bleed Mind you this blood was only mentions after I told them that I will come back tomorrow cause paying 200 Rand for small smudges of oil on the pillow cash didn’t make sense then the receptionist went on to say we saw blood Then they said there was food sauces as well ..I mean I’m staying there and I was here for 2 nights ain’t no way am I going to leave the place spotless But the receptionist was just being rude which was unnecessary Like I said this wasn’t the first time coming here I always come and never have I ever gone through this even after staying for more days with friends I just think it’s drama to charge me for oil on my pillow cause I slept on it it’s bound to happen a"

"I had heard it was in a not-so-safe area, but there were no issues as cars could pull right up to the hotel entrance, and there's a security guard at the parking entrance, which made traveling by ride-sharing app perfectly fine. However, I'd definitely advise against walking, even for short distances. The staff were very helpful, and my stay was comfortable. I was too lazy to go out, so I ate at the hotel's restaurant several times, and it was excellent – delicious and inexpensive. I'd love to stay here again when I next visit Cape Town. I've attached photos of the delicious burger and T-bone steak I had at the restaurant."

"Nice hotel with great location. Mojo Market is right next to it and that makes it super convenient for food, drinks and live music most nights. The staff is super friendly, helpful and truly make you feel welcome. The only suggestion would be to let people know there's construction currently happening right next to the hotel which makes it a little noisy. Perhaps the hotel could offer rooms for a cheaper rate for the inconvenience. TVs might need checking as well. I was not able to use mine at all. Overall it was a great stay though. "The hotel facilities are a bit dated, but the cleanliness is good. It's located right by the coast, so you can walk directly to the beach, which is quiet and uncrowded. All rooms have both a shower and a bathtub, though the bathtub is on the small side. The hotel also features an outdoor pool and a spa. There's a free parking garage downstairs."

"HAVN Apartstay Hotel provided a comfortable and practical base during our Cape Town stay. The location was highly convenient, allowing easy access to major attractions such as Table Mountain and the Waterfront. The apartment-style layout suited our family well, offering sufficient space for luggage, children, and downtime. The room was larger than expected and exceeded our initial expectations in comfort. While there was a slight lingering smoke smell upon arrival, airing out the room improved the environment. Staff were helpful and accommodating, especially when allowing us to store luggage prior to check-in. The overall experience balanced independence with hotel-style convenience. It was especially helpful during a busy sightseeing phase of the trip. HAVN offered a reliable, well-located option for families seeking flexibility and space in Cape Town."

"Pros: The price is more affordable than most other hotels; the location is good and convenient for getting around; the rooms are equipped with self-catering facilities. Cons: The room is quite small; the bathroom has a strong odor; the breakfast area is small, and the service staff are not very efficient, especially when it's busy. The food delivery is very slow; one day I actually waited an hour for my order (I only ordered a fried egg, a slice of bacon, and a piece of toast)."

"The location is convenient at Sea Point, the room is nice and newly renovated, the amenities are nice, and it's very clean. The breakfasts at the cafe on the ground floor are delicious; you have a deposit and can choose what you want from the menu. A special thank you to the staff and Evety for their help with communication and changing my stay dates due to a flight change."

"The location is excellent, and the security is top-notch. The basic amenities in the room are very sufficient. Everything was satisfactory, except for the rather small sink in the bathroom. The staff were also very helpful."
