Schaffhausen old town is very walkable, and this quaint hotel is a great location. The reception and all staff was very friendly. The building itself is interesting, old and nicely renovated. New and antique furniture lovely arranged. Perfect breakfast.

Very clean, super close to the train station and town center. At the same time very clean and quiet. I had a room without windows but I knew this prior since it was mentioned clearly in the description and didn‘t bother. The window with the picture of the town is a nice touch to give it a bit of a window feeling. Super clean and everyone very friendly. Breakfast buffet is small but there‘s a good choice and fresh produce. They keep kettle and water outside in a general station which I didn‘t mind. It‘s essy to get and refilled plenty. The pillow menu is a great add-on for such a small hotel but it makes a difference.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2-night stay here. The location is quiet, a short walk to restaurants. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We found our 4th floor room comfortable and clean. Because it was hotter than usual and the hotel is without air-conditioning, a fan was provided which helped cool the room. We opened the windows for a while to enjoy the breeze. Breakfast was good with plenty of choices. Except for the hot weather, it was a perfect stay in Schaffhausen.

This was our favourite hotel on our week long cycling tour of Lake Constance. We were met by a very friendly receptionist who offered us complimentary soft drinks and ice cream on arrival (the ice cream needed eating up!). She gave us helpful tips of what to see and where to eat. An equally lovely receptionist offered us complimentary bottked water on departure. A beautiful and grand hotel.
