By Friso is the perfect place to stay when you're looking for a more personalized and independent experience. This was not our first time there and the experience has been consistently positive. Entering the room and finding the card keys, hotel information and a hand written welcome message perfectly arranged on the table was a very classy touch. By Friso team is super friendly and helpful, it really feels like your second home. Location is perfect, facing a beautiful park and in between the city and the beach. The luxe studio has a fully equipped kitchen and a washer/dryer that works just perfect and that gives you a lot of flexibility. The room is impeccably clean, the bed is very comfortable and the bed linen is top quality. The bathroom is very spacious and the toiletries are top quality, absolutely perfect, just like at your own home. The small tables and the benches by the lake are the perfect place for reading or having g a coffee while watching the view. There are fours EV chargers at the parking and that is also very convenient. You can also rent bikes and explore the surroundings. Definitely a place to go back! A nice plus, right across the street there a nice café where you have a coffee with friends.

Everything was perfect : the location, the magnificent lake view , the suite was amazing in every way : comfy bed, gorgeous bathroom, a fridge, a microwave owen....everything you need. The place is so quiet and the neighborhood wonderful with the magnificent Scheveningen beach a few minutes away....I will definitly be back!!!@

Fantastic location walking distance from town and beach, good bike hire. Great views. Well equipped studio. Would really benefit from some comfortable outside seating on the huge terrace.

My absolute favorite hotel! Every stay is a consistently wonderful experience, earning a solid five stars. I appreciate the truly spacious rooms and the absolutely awesome view from the windows, which makes waking up a joy. I visit often, and I already look forward to my next trip here!

Wonderful property and accomodations with easy tram access to the beach and Den Haag center. Great lake views of the park, a nice cafe across the street. The deluxe 1 bedroom suite is like a small apartment with a nice sized refrigerator, a stove, oven, dishwasher and washing machine. On Thursdays, there is a terrific street market a few blocks away in the Belgian Park section on Stevinstraat.

Our stay at Hotel by Friso was exceptional in every respect. We stayed in Suite No. 15 on the raised ground floor – a stylishly designed, light-filled apartment with approximately three-meter-high ceilings, expansive windows, and a direct view of the lake. The suite is generously divided into three separate areas: An open-plan living and dining space with a high-end designer kitchen (including Nespresso machine, induction glass-ceramic cooktop, refrigerator with freezer compartment, full set of cookware and cleaning supplies), a separate, bright sleeping area, and a modern bathroom with a walk-in shower. Noteworthy are the extensive storage options thanks to multiple built-in wardrobes and a dedicated dressing section with a safe – ideal for extended stays. The suite is superbly equipped: comfortable beds, washer-dryer combo, iron and ironing board, vacuum cleaner, dishwasher, and elegant dining areas both inside and on the quiet, furnished terrace – where we often enjoyed breakfast. The entire layout is well thought out, design-focused, and completely soundproof. There are no sources of noise – offering perfect conditions for peace, privacy, and relaxation. This accommodation is not only suitable for short getaways but also ideally suited for longer, self-sufficient stays. If you value space, individuality, and refined aesthetics, this is the right place for you. The hotel is located in a quiet, upscale villa district. The lake borders directly on the property and offers plenty of room to roam – a clear advantage for families with children. Although the hotel is not explicitly targeted at families, children were warmly welcomed. For us – as a family of five – it was the perfect combination of style, comfort, and family-friendliness. The location is excellent: the beach is about a 15-minute walk away, and there is a tram stop right in front of the house. A grocery store is approximately 600 meters away. On-site parking is available – SUV drivers should be prepared for a tight maneuver. A special highlight was the personal check-out by the owner, who kindly inquired about our satisfaction and shared valuable travel tips. Conclusion: A true insider tip for discerning travelers – modern, quiet, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully designed. For those seeking a refined retreat away from the mainstream, this is a top choice. Highly recommended.
