Hyatt Regency Seattle

The hotel's location is very convenient. You can walk to most attractions, except for those in the Space Needle area. The high-floor rooms also offer great views. Another plus is that the SIXT car rental company is right downstairs, making pick-up and drop-off very easy.

The location is excellent, right in the city center. It's not as bustling as I expected, but surprisingly quiet downstairs, which is great. It's only a few minutes' walk to the subway station, a 15-minute walk to Pike Place Market by the sea, and a 5-minute walk to Din Tai Fung for lunch. There are also plenty of other dining options nearby. We arrived early, around noon, and were able to check in right away, even though the official check-in time is 3 PM. That was very accommodating. The room had an expansive view and was a good size. Our reservation didn't include breakfast, but we ended up eating there anyway. The variety was extensive and fantastic!

The room was spotless and the bedding was comfortable, plus the room layout was excellent! The front desk offers complimentary water and soda, and there's a TV in the lobby where you can watch the World Cup. The only downside was the low water pressure in the shower, and the fact that it was a fixed showerhead, which was quite inconvenient. The hotel is just a few minutes' walk from the fish market, and directly across the street is the US team's residence!

A great choice for our last night before heading home. The room had an amazing view, and the front desk staff were really friendly and chatty. Plus, ordering food and getting a taxi was super convenient.

When I first checked into the room, there was hair on both the sink and the bed. I tried calling the front desk in the middle of the night, but couldn't get through. However, after reporting it the next day, they moved us to a different room and upgraded our room type, so the service was still quite good. The sea view from the higher floor was beautiful, and the breakfast downstairs was delicious. The water pressure in the shower was a bit low, though.

This is my second stay here, and from now on, this will be my go-to hotel whenever I'm in Seattle. It's quite new.
