Five Color Boutique Hotel (Gesar Cultural Museum Branch in Seda County)

I visited Tibet during the National Day holiday and stayed at this hotel on my way from Baiyu County to Seda County. The hotel is on the edge of the county town, near Dongga Monastery. You can see the Milky Way from the hotel at night when you go to Dongga Monastery. It's also close to the Jinma Grassland bus station, making it convenient to take a bus to Larung Gar Buddhist Academy in the morning. The hotel provides oxygen, but you need to get an oxygen bag from the front desk; it's not an oxygen concentrator. The room is quite spacious. There's no air conditioning because the temperature here is only around 25 degrees Celsius at its hottest, and it's cool at night. However, it gets very cold in winter, but the underfloor heating works very well. The bed is warm and comfortable, the lighting is bright, and there's plenty of hot water in the bathroom. Overall, it's a good hotel.

The room had an indescribable odor, which worsened after turning on the underfloor heating. The toilet door was difficult to slide smoothly and got stuck. The toilet paper had been used and not replaced promptly. The charger couldn't be plugged into the bedside socket. The pillowcase was yellowed and stained. The front desk service was good. There's a restaurant on the first floor where you can sit and have a direct view of the mountains opposite.

The hotel is very close to the pick-up point, within walking distance. The front desk staff are polite and the rooms are clean!

The room facilities were basic. The window faces the atrium; this should be clearly indicated. The price wasn't outrageous for the National Day holiday. Breakfast was available for 15 yuan, but I didn't try it. Parking was convenient.

The hotel has a good location and is easy to find. The hot water is good. However, there are a lot of small insects. This needs improvement. Otherwise, there are no major issues.

The price is reasonable, the rooms are quite new, and there's underfloor heating. The bathroom has curtains for the shower and toilet to prevent splashing. You can ask the front desk for an oxygen bag; inhaling oxygen for a while at night can alleviate altitude sickness. The hotel is conveniently located a 10-minute walk from the arrival center (which is necessary at an altitude of nearly 4,000 meters).

The hotel is located by the roadside and has its own parking lot. There is an elevator in the hotel. Please note that the bathroom in my room had an external window, but the room window was an internal window. Seda County is not large; although it's not in the town center, you can walk to the Jinma Distribution Center, and there were streetlights along the way back at night! Breakfast is provided at the hotel, but we didn't have a chance to try it because we left early the next day. 👍👍👍 Service: 👍 Cleanliness: 👍 Environment: 👍 Facilities: 👍

Facilities: Complete and well-equipped. Electric blankets, underfloor heating, humidifier, and oxygen supply are all available. Hygiene: Clean and tidy. Environment: Quiet and comfortable, convenient location. Service: Excellent.

Overall, it doesn't feel right, but it doesn't match the description!
