The main building, front desk staff, and restaurant are amazing. If I was a snowmobiler or winter outdoorsman, I'd come again and again.
However, I was traveling with my husband who uses a power wheelchair - which was a bit frustrating at times. The accessible rooms have carpet (which is incredibly challenging to work with) and only bars in the bathroom - not a roll in shower. Also, you can't have pets in accessible rooms - something not mentioned when I booked a pet-friendly hotel. We also had to ask a few times for the ramps to be plowed - but they were done and done well.
Overall, I'd recommend this hotel if you are outdoorsy - it was fun to put on winter outerwear and walk down to the restaurant - the restaurant was surprisingly amazing - great drinks and dinners once the ramp was plowed! I'd check if you're on the main or second floor, and if you're disabled - I'd just make sure you can manage with carpet, and some adjustments in the bathroom. However - they did have LEGS on the bed - meaning his lift could fit under -which is A+ for anyone who travels with someone who requires a lift!
The staff was amazing - friendly, responsive, and kind. If they remodelled their accessible rooms to be flooring with a roll in shower - boom. It'd be perfect.
