A Plus Boutique Hotel Reviews

We booked a standard room at RM115 per night. The advertisement initially stated that the room comes with a window, but the room we got did not have one. Later, we noticed that the description had been updated to “some rooms come with a window.” The room is quite small, and the walls appear a bit dirty. The room only provides two TV channels, and both are in Malay, with no other language options available. The bathroom is acceptable, with strong water pressure and hot water available. Basic amenities like toothpaste and a toothbrush are provided, but there is no refrigerator. For this price, it feels slightly on the expensive side. However, accommodation around Sekinchan is generally quite pricey.

All is good. Hotel lobby smell nice. Only for the bathroom can be improved in term of stains. Suitable location as at the middle of town and attraction.

Everything was good except for the cleanliness. Also, there is room of improvement for sound proof.

I booked a room with a window, but was given a windowless room upon check-in. The excuse was that there were no rooms left, suggesting walk-in guests were prioritized 😖. The room smelled musty due to poor ventilation. It was so cramped, like a cave, that I couldn't tell if it was day or night. I even had to move the bed just to lay out my prayer mat. The bathroom was unclean and had a strong smell of moss and dampness. Luckily, I only booked for one night as I was tired and just needed to continue my journey. I was quick to check out early the next morning.

The room and bathroom was not clean - there were stains on the walls of the room and floor tiles of the toilet were also stained. The bath towels were also brownish and aged. Worst of all, we could hear the water flowing when the neighboring room takes a shower. Definitely the worst hotel experience of this trip ! I would rate this an overall 4/10 experience.

There were stains on the bedsheet, and I had to request the hotel to change it. Since it’s a boutique hotel, I didn’t expect too much.

Room is a little bit too small but location wise is good. Bed is comfy just the room is too small.

Everything feels like its been ages yet the hotel stated it got renovated in 2020.

The room is small but reasonably clean for the price. There’s no smoking smell or any strange odors, which is a plus. However, it’s located close to the highway, so be aware that car noise can be noticeable on a night.
