Great location, near nightmarket, very helpful owner and stuff, great trips

Location is good walking distance from jetty area which is a good opportunity to walk across the shops/laundry area. Hotel helped to arrange for airport transfer. If u rent a bike, can safely park in front of receptionist, got people lepak there. For budget trip this hostel is value for money.

Couldn’t get a good night’s sleep here tbh. The bed is too short for any average adult (though that does make the room feel more spacious). The pillows are so soft that they gave me neck pain. I was also woken up every night by noise from dogs and cars. They don’t provide toothbrush mugs or slippers, but you can be sure the room is clean.

I stayed in a small room shared with many guests at this hostel. What surprised and disappointed me was that the staff would turn off the air conditioning in the room even while guests were still inside, without informing us during check-in. Staff enter the rooms and switch off the aircon from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM without prior notice or permission. This is unprofessional and disrespectful of guest privacy, especially in hot weather. Moreover, the staff at this hostel are unfriendly and arrogant. Despite having many staff members, their attitude is cold and unsociable, especially in the common lounge area where guests relax. This behavior is particularly unpleasant, especially from female staff, and it reflects poorly on the hostel’s hospitality — not a good impression for visitors like me. I hope the management addresses these issues by improving staff friendliness and respecting guests’ privacy.
