The waters are clean, and the speedboat ride from the pier to the water villa takes 30 minutes. Pick-up time is around 2:30 PM, and drop-off time is around 1 PM; you need to confirm with them in advance. The accommodation consists of five independent wooden rooms with excellent ventilation and a private lounge chair area in the back. The downside is the lack of air conditioning. It's okay at night with good ventilation, but in the morning the indoor temperature might be a bit high, so you'll need to move to the outdoor area or the back area. The food is decent; the chef puts a lot of effort into it, and it's one of the better options among the typical Semporna cuisine. The service is excellent. The staff are honest and very enthusiastic. Jeffrey has a DJI drone and loves taking photos and videos. He actively invites you to snorkeling and coral reef tours; he'll be disappointed if you don't go. You can make requests to the staff, and they will accommodate them. Deep-sea fishing is available, and there are paid activities like paddleboarding. Snorkeling and photoshoots are free; he'll send you the videos he takes. He also loves to sing, like Michael Wong. He loves to get people to sing karaoke in the evenings. This overwater bungalow is a local property, lacking many trendy features. There are four staff members, but they barely speak Mandarin and are still learning. However, their English is fluent and they love to chat. Because it's not a popular tourist destination, there aren't many visitors, so they said they often feel a bit lonely. The receptionist is a young man who enjoys drinking; his orange liqueur is quite good—it's supposed to be around 40% alcohol, but it doesn't taste too strong. Everyone smokes, but they're very polite; I didn't see them smoking during the day, but they always asked beforehand if it was okay to join us for activities in the evening. There's no Wi-Fi, but the coverage with Malaysian SIM cards like Celon is decent. The staff can be contacted via WhatsApp and WeChat, and their response time is acceptable. The pros and cons are quite obvious, but personally, I'm very satisfied.
