I booked a Japanese-style room, which was quite big, but there was no bathroom. However, there was no need for a bathroom if there was a hot spring. Outside the window was a forest in front of the hotel, with a nice view. The hot spring has three pools, one open-air hot spring, two indoor black and white hot springs. The hot springs are natural and pretty good. The hotel's breakfast and dinner are all self-service, check out at 10 am and check in at 3 pm. I arrived at a little after 1 pm and waited for the people in front to check in. I waited for about 45 minutes. I could have gone to the nearby Taenoyu hot spring, but I missed the time because the reception there ended at 2 pm.
