I stayed at the JR East Metropolitan Hotel East in Sendai for four nights, and the overall experience was excellent. The hotel is directly connected to the statio, just exit the Shinkansen West Gate, turn right, and walk straight ahead to reach it. Along the way, there are plenty of restaurants, making dining very convenient. With the hotel linked to the station, shopping is also effortless thanks to the many department stores nearby. Breakfast was abundant, and the lounge space was particularly comfortable. Overall, it’s a highly recommended place to stay.

The room was clean and had a great view. Most importantly, you don't even have to leave the station to get to the hotel, and it's connected to various shopping malls which are fun to browse. Dining options are endless! Plus, there's a bus terminal right on the first floor, making it super convenient to get anywhere. All in all, I'm extremely satisfied and highly recommend it. I'll definitely stay here again next time.

Great location, with direct access to Sendai Station from downstairs. If you're driving, make sure to park at Sendai Station East Parking, as hotel guests get a special rate of 1500 yen per night. I, however, parked in a lot across the street where the sign said 1400 yen for 24 hours, but when I checked out the next day, it was 3200 yen – what a rip-off! The hotel bathroom was spacious and comfortable, and the bedding was excellent. The breakfast was decent. This is a hotel I'd definitely consider staying at again when visiting Sendai.

The JR METS chain is always reliable, and overall, this was a very satisfying stay! I booked a superior twin room with large windows on two sides. The room was incredibly spacious, and the location was super convenient. You can get there directly from JR Station by cutting through the SPL mall. They also provided a generous amount of toiletries. The soundproofing was excellent, and I could even watch international streaming platforms on the TV. The only minor drawback was that the bedding wasn't super comfortable.
