The Asahi Shimbun building is right next door, haha! I was always so curious about it when watching Detective Conan. Sendai's beef tongue is absolutely amazing; I ate it twice nearby. I used to not like beef tongue, but now I can't get enough of it! I even got a stationery tissue box from B Shop from a gachapon, so lucky!

Great property and walking distance to a 711 and the train station. The onsen was small but comfortable with a cold plunge and a sauna. The complimentary noodles and snacks are a nice touch too!

It's a pretty standard hotel, but a bit overpriced. The hot spring is really small and not a selling point. The main pros are its good location and the complimentary ramen and popsicles. If you're looking to experience a Japanese-style hotel, you could give it a try. However, if your main goal is the hot spring, it's definitely not worth it – I didn't even use it once, which felt like a waste.
