Hotel Bridge Seogwipo

The hotel building looks quite nice, but the interior cleanliness is pretty mediocre. The carpet is really dirty, and there are some stains on the bedding. The pictures on Ctrip were definitely retouched. Also, a deposit is required, either cash or credit card. The worst part, though, is that the mini-fridge is incredibly, incredibly, incredibly noisy!!!! Given the price point, it's acceptable, I guess.

My plans changed, and I needed to check in 2 days early. I extended my stay by 2 days, and the front desk staff was very helpful in arranging a continuous room for me. The room was very clean, and the sea view was beautiful. I stayed for a total of 10 days. The service staff would knock on my door daily to clean the room and deliver drinking water (they spoke Chinese). The hotel's shampoo and shower gel smelled lovely. The breakfast buffet had a good variety of options, more than I could eat by myself. When I didn't want to go out for food, I used the instant noodle machine in the hotel. There's a 7-Eleven next door, and it's about a 10-minute walk to Cheonjiyeon Falls and another 10 minutes to the Olle Market. When I checked in, I paid a 50,000 KRW cash deposit, which was quickly returned after a room inspection at check-out. All in all, I had no negative experiences and it was a pleasant trip. Recommended!

The hotel is conveniently located near Seogwipo Port, making it easy to access the beach, Jeongbang Waterfall, and Seogwipo Maeil Olle Market. Lee Jung-seop Art Street is also right next door – a truly excellent location. I booked a deluxe sea view room, and the balcony view was absolutely stunning. However, the hotel's cleanliness, to be honest, was just average. I stayed for four days, and even though there was daily housekeeping, the carpet was visibly dirty the entire time. I can understand not providing toiletries, but I was surprised that there were no basic tea or coffee packets, and even just one mouthwash cup in the bathroom was a bit odd. Nevertheless, considering its price and location, the overall value for money is still acceptable.

The location is excellent, with a bus stop right outside that takes you to Olle Trails 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10, which is incredibly convenient. There's a 7-Eleven and a CU convenience store downstairs, making it easy to grab supplies. Olle Market is about a 10-minute walk (uphill), and the popular cliffside cafe is just 4 bus stops away. The room was very comfortable, but the only downside was that the air conditioner vent was pointed directly at the bed. It got cold and gave us a headache after a while, so we ended up sleeping with our heads at the foot of the bed to solve the problem. Also, it was a bit surprising that the front desk staff didn't know about the Olle Trails or where the tourist center was located.

Great location! Super convenient for getting around. There are lots of restaurants and a supermarket downstairs. It's right in the city center, next to Lee Jung-seop Street with all its cute little shops. Everyone is friendly, and the BBQ place downstairs is really good too. I'd definitely come back to Seogwipo.

This hotel is beyond words! The bus ride was longer than the flight itself, taking 1.5-2 hours. If you don't have an iron butt, don't even think about it! If you have money, just take a taxi! Once you get off the bus, you still have to walk a long way to the hotel, which is really tiring with luggage! They even asked for my credit card during check-in, to prevent us from stealing things? Seriously, there's nothing in the room anyway, what would we even steal? It's so shabby! How did this place get such a rating? There's absolutely nothing! Not cozy at all, and the hygiene is a complete mess! It's disgusting; the power outlets by the bed were covered in dust, and there was hair all over the headboard from previous guests, so gross! Finally, when checking out, they asked me about another room card? They told me to go get it, but I was already downstairs, and you only gave me one when I checked in, and now you want me to go get it myself? I said no, you get it, and the female receptionist's face instantly changed. This kind of service is just unbelievable! I should have taken a picture of her face and posted it online! It's an embarrassment to Korea! I just flew in from Japan, and I absolutely cannot adapt to the hygiene, facilities, environment, and service here! It's a complete disaster!

The environment and location are both great, and the price is especially good value. I stayed 5 nights in Jeju and switched hotels four times, and this was by far the most comfortable night. I'll definitely book this again if I come back!
