Parnas Hotel Jeju

This is my first time leaving a bad review. The downgrade from the JW Marriott was significant. For a room that costs over 8000 a night, it felt like a budget hotel. Not only was the room small, but I didn't even dare to use the bathrobes or towels; they seemed very old. Only the public areas were somewhat decent.

This hotel in Seogwipo is very comfortable. The sea view really depends on the weather, but everything else is good, except the room is a bit small. The breakfast is rich and I loved it. There's also a kids' play area, though there are fewer activities compared to last year.

I booked the Executive Suite without breakfast. When I booked, the room rate with breakfast was over 4000 won more expensive than without, so what did I do? The brunch spot next door perfectly solved that problem; while the menu wasn't extensive, everything tasted great and is worth a try. There's also a supermarket nearby, which easily meets basic needs, even selling cigarettes and alcohol. The suite was incredibly convenient for our family of four, featuring a small living room in the middle and two bedrooms, both with attached bathrooms. When checking in, I told the front desk I hoped to have a sea view, and the lovely lady said she gave me a 'full view' suite. And she was right! From the room, you could see the parking lot (mountain view) and also the sea. Exiting the hotel and turning right, you'll find the 600/601 bus stop. This bus is essential for getting around, and it's no problem to get to the Olle Market. If you turn right at the bus stop and walk down, you can reach the beach, where many people are surfing 🏄🏻‍♀️. I think the hotel's service attitude is quite good, with a pure resort vibe. Since I stayed at the Marriott when I came in April, I wasn't particularly amazed by Parnas this time, but it's still a very good hotel. The Marriott is closer to the city and more convenient, but it doesn't have a beach. Overall, Seogwipo is a great place for a holiday. If possible, it's best to come in spring; summer is too sunny and humid.

The room view was absolutely stunning, and there were a lot of Koreans staying at the hotel (I'm Korean, so I can confirm!). It's a great spot for a family trip, and the buffet in the hotel was quite delicious 😋. It really felt like a relaxing vacation (especially the pool at night, which was so pleasant).

The Parnas Hotel is a top-tier five-star resort in Seogwipo, located right on the cliffside within the heart of the Jungmun Tourist Complex. It's renowned for its relaxing ocean-view getaways and Instagram-worthy photo opportunities, perfect for couples or families seeking a leisurely trip. The overall service quality far surpasses that of the Grand Hyatt downtown, making it much better suited for quiet retreats, relaxation, and rejuvenation – perfectly meeting the need for a getaway to clear your mind. My favorite features are the hotel's ocean-side ramp and the morning sunrise yoga! 🧘

Arrived at the hotel around noon, but was told at the front desk that check-in wasn't until 3 PM. Luckily, we got our room and checked in around 1 PM. The room was standard, nothing special, but the main draw was the sea view and the infinity pool. We tried room service and a few of the restaurants, and the food was good, my kids really enjoyed it. A big shout-out to the concierge team! When my child wasn't feeling well, they provided a thermometer and even thoughtfully took us to the hospital and acted as an interpreter. 👍

The hotel was very clean. It's a shame we stayed for two nights and it was cloudy and hazy every day, so we didn't get to see the true beauty of Mount Lu. We stayed in a suite, which was perfect for a family with two kids. The beds were comfortable, and the air conditioning was surprisingly quiet, which is great for light sleepers. Perhaps due to the climate, there were a lot of small flying insects at night, but the staff were constantly cleaning them out of the pool, and the water was very clean. The Ivory Brunch downstairs was delicious, and the supermarket had plenty of options. The changing rooms by the pool were also exceptionally clean, and they even had skincare products available. Highly recommend!

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! The pool is incredibly comfortable, and the service is excellent. The room type they gave us was also great! They are very friendly towards Chinese guests, and there's a convenience store nearby. Highly recommended!
