The room had a faint, pleasant scent, and the facilities were well-maintained, feeling classic rather than old. Every staff member was incredibly friendly and patient. The food was exquisite; I had the best seafood noodles here.

Excellent! Besides the great facilities and service, the high-floor views were amazing, with mountains and sea. If it weren't for my travel route and schedule, I definitely would have stayed a few more days here!

The hotel staff generally have excellent service attitudes, and the front desk lady who checked me in was also very friendly. This experience was much better than at the Grand Hyatt. The hotel is very large, and although it's an older property, it's well-maintained. There are many activities available, making it perfect for a vacation. The breakfast is very generous. I'll definitely stay for more nights next time I visit.

Grilled, fried, and braised hairtail are all options. 🏨Inside the Hotel Every corner offers an elegant and beautiful backdrop, perfect for a trip with mom. 🏊🏻♀️Heated pool with a pool party and live band from 8-10 PM. 😋Dinner can also be enjoyed at the poolside bar, where you can listen to English party songs. Prices are around 200-300 per dish, and portions are generous. 🥐Breakfast can be delivered to your room, offsetting the buffet voucher. I chose the American breakfast: besides toast and muffins, croissants and Danish pastries were also available, delivered within half an hour. The buffet breakfast can also be exchanged for Chinese cuisine. 🌊Olle walking path by the sea + observatory: You can enjoy ocean views right from the hotel, no need to rush to popular cafes. 🛏I booked a sea-view room; there was no strange smell. Although the hotel is a bit old, it's very clean and tidy! The bedding was great, and I slept really well! The buffet and breakfast were both delicious and worth trying. There were a lot of Korean locals, and the pool party music was good.

I once stayed at a Shilla Hotel by Jinji Lake in Suzhou and had a great experience, so when I came to Jeju Island this time, I decisively chose this one. This hotel is located on a hillside by the sea in Seogwipo, offering unbeatable ocean views and a stunning environment. There's even a hotel pathway that leads directly to the beach. A major highlight is the live band performing by the outdoor pool in the evenings. Although the hotel is a bit older, it's well-maintained, and the rooms are clean and hygienic. The service staff proactively helped with our luggage and even informed us of the airport shuttle's pick-up time at the main entrance, and you can pay with Alipay. The only downside was that the Cheonji restaurant was closed for renovations.

The breakfast buffet is also of high quality. Now for the cons: 1. Firstly, there's virtually no Chinese-speaking staff, but then again, not many Chinese guests stay here, mostly Koreans. 2. The hotel staff seemed rather indifferent towards Chinese guests, and the service was generally mediocre. 3. I had some issues with the hotel during my stay, but Trip.com came through and resolved everything brilliantly. Big shout-out to Trip.com's customer service! As a loyal Trip.com customer, this made me feel truly valued.

The hotel environment is very good, nestled on a hillside with its own garden to stroll through. You'll need to take a boardwalk down to the sea, but the beach right next to the hotel isn't the clearest 'jellyfish sea' type. The hotel's interior is clean and decent. However, dining is a bit expensive, and there aren't many activities available; the indoor play area is quite small. It's also not very convenient to find food options outside the hotel. Overall, compared to other domestic hotels, its environment is a plus, but everything else isn't really comparable. I wouldn't recommend this place for a tourist trip; it's more suited for a 'staycation' if you're not planning to venture out much.

I've been back home for a week, and I finally have time to write a detailed review of this hotel, named after the ancient Silla kingdom. First, the good points, which are the only things I found worthwhile. The hotel is built into a cliff, boasting unique natural scenery. It cleverly integrates lush vegetation into one side of the hotel, creating a rich and layered temperate island characteristic. Strolling through it is incredibly relaxing. In the distance is the surging sea, and nearby are cliffs and a sandy beach – being there is truly enjoyable. Now that I've covered the good, here are the things I found intolerable and unacceptable: 1. The room the hotel provided was not the one I booked. I had reserved a mountain-view room with a balcony, but they gave me a room without a balcony, and the window overlooked a parking lot. 2. After I requested a change, the hotel moved me to another room. It did have a balcony, but it was still near the parking lot. 3. What made me even angrier was that the hotel clearly hadn't cleaned thoroughly. In the new room, I found uncleaned hair in the sink and water stains in the bathroom. The picture shows hair in the basin. 4. After communicating with the hotel again through Trip.com, the hotel staff at the front desk was expressionless throughout, with dull eyes and mechanical service, showing no apology whatsoever. They showed me another room that was even worse than the current one. I had no choice but to ask the hotel staff to clean it again, and I ended up waiting for nearly two extra hours because of this. 5. The hotel breakfast was terrible. The local specialty food was extremely unappetizing and hard to swallow. The coffee used low-quality beans. There was an area that seemed to be for Chinese food, which was completely unrecognizable. The fruit selection was basic, truly basic. The only edible options were the Western food and ice cream, which were actually good. Perhaps you might think my review is harsh, but given the room rate I paid, I feel I have the right to be this critical. And for breakfast, at nearly 300 RMB per person, honestly, 'basic' is the only word I can use, especially for the fruit. The entire staff at the Shilla Hotel seemed to have a grim, tense, and deliberately distant demeanor, which was genuinely off-putting. Overall, I'd say this hotel completely fails to meet expectations. Many areas need significant improvement. If I had to choose again, I definitely wouldn't stay here.

The service is also good. I'd definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Jeju.

The hotel has an old-money vibe, with sculptures and marble floors/walls that are exceptionally well-maintained. The greenery is abundant, and there's a path leading down to a hiking trail and the beach. The breakfast is incredibly rich and high-quality, and in the evenings, there's a live band by the pool. If I visit Jeju again, I'd definitely choose this hotel. (You can swap your breakfast reservation for the lunch buffet, which is also excellent, but you need to inform the front desk in advance to make the change.)

Overall, it was okay. It's located by the sea in Seogwipo. **Facilities:** The facilities are a bit old and I wouldn't highly recommend them. **Hygiene:** The hygiene was acceptable. **Environment:** The environment was also good. **Service:** There was basically no service. The front desk was incredibly slow during check-in, it was really bad and quite frustrating.

The location is absolutely fantastic, and the sea view is stunning, but the hotel is definitely old, a 30-year-old property. It's still worth a stay, though.

The hotel is beautiful on a sunny day, living up to expectations; many local Koreans vacation here. However, it's quite far out. It takes an hour and a half to get to the East Coast and an hour to the city center, and there's not much to do nearby, so there's no need to stay for an extended period.
