Sunbee Hotel Insadong Seoul Reviews

The location is excellent, near Insadong and not far from Lotte Duty Free, about a 20-minute taxi ride. The hotel isn't big but it's very quiet and the environment is great, making for a comfortable stay. There are countless restaurants nearby, and it's fantastic for exploring. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Seoul.

This hotel had a really relaxing atmosphere. We stayed in a deluxe twin room, which was incredibly spacious and clean. It had a king-sized bed and a single bed. The bathroom and toilet were separate, and the bathtub was wonderfully long, allowing you to fully stretch out your legs. There was a coffee machine in the room next to the lobby, which was great for getting coffee anytime. Thank you!

Great location – tucked away in a quiet spot, yet close to lively streets and cafes. Public transport is super convenient with tons of bus stops nearby, including one for the airport shuttle. The staff are friendly, and you can leave your luggage at reception if you arrive before check-in. There's also a cafe on the ground floor. We loved everything and highly recommend this hotel! 👍🏼

I had a wonderful stay at Sunbee Hotel in Seoul and would highly recommend it. First, the location is excellent. It’s about a 10-minute walk to many eateries and pochas (Korean street bars), making it very convenient for dining and exploring at night. There are convenience stores and a supermarket just 1 minute away, which is extremely handy. The hotel is also located near a police station, which made the area feel very safe. Second, the hotel is very well maintained. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Bathrobes, comfortable towels, and a full set of shower amenities were provided. The room has a double-door design that helps prevent noise, so it stays very quiet. The floor heating and air conditioning worked well, and the TV even comes with Netflix. Overall, the room felt very comfortable and well equipped. Lastly, the staff were all very friendly and helpful, and they spoke excellent English, which made communication very easy. The lobby is clean and has a pleasant scent. There is also a small café area with free drinks for guests, and the hotel provides washer and dryer facilities in the basement, which is very convenient for longer stays. Overall, Sunbee Hotel offers a great combination of comfort, convenience, and excellent service. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location and excellent service! There's convenient access to public transportation, supermarkets, cafes, and bakeries nearby. The Korean people are so friendly; it's my first time thinking the Korean language sounds beautiful.

The room was very spacious, much larger than most hotels. The location in the heart of Insadong was incredibly convenient.

Decent hotel with spacious room and toilet. Hotel has a free to use washer and dryer in the laundry room down at the Basement (tap card to access stairs from level 1). Hard to book Uber from the hotel location as it somehow appear as a no pick up zone, you can shift the pin somewhere near the hotel just a little outside of the no pick up zone. Drop off at the hotel has no issues however. Free coffee at the cafe right at the hotel. Hotel staffs speak English. Housekeeping is up till 2.30pm only, so if you’re here for the night parties, may need to be up earlier. No staffs manning the lobby at night. But you can self check out with the camera manned counter if you do leave at night.

Although it was a bit hard to find, the location was super convenient. It was lively during the day, and at night, the food stalls were open until late, which was great for enjoying some food. My only minor complaints were that the bathtub was too big, so it took a while to fill, and the toilet seat was cold. On the plus side, there were plenty of power outlets, and they readily provided a power adapter, which was a nice touch.

The location is great, and having a free laundry room in the basement is a real plus. The underfloor heating kept the room cozy and comfortable at night, which was lovely.

I traveled to Korea for BTS's comeback live show. It was great that the hotel was within walking distance, and the room was spacious. It's always a plus to have a bathtub in Korea, but it would have been even better with a shower curtain. I had to be extra careful while showering. The front desk staff were all very kind, which was a nice touch.

We had a great stay. The staff was very helpful. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Great location. If we make it back Seoul this is where we are staying.
